December 1-3, 2017 - Stockbridge Main Street At Christmas
Stockbridge, Massachusetts
The town of Stockbridge, made famous by Norman Rockwell’s painting of the village during the holidays, becomes a magical New England setting decorated with holiday wreaths and festive lights. The celebration includes holiday house tours, caroling, and a holiday concert. Capping off the weekend is a recreation on Sunday of the scene depicted in Rockwell’s “Main Street at Christmas,” complete with vintage automobiles parked in the spots occupied in the painting. The day’s activities include horse drawn rides, a visit from Santa, Roger the Jester, lunch at the Christmas Food Booth and much more.

December 31, 2017 - Rockport New Year’s Eve
Rockport, Massachusetts
Rockport New Year’s Eve 2017: 79 shows by 38 different acts in 16 venues, most of which are handicap-accessible, and all of which are within easy walking distance of one another. There is free parking at Whistlestop Mall, and there is free bus service from the parking and the train station. Events begin at 6:00PM and end with a midnight ball drop. Performances include all kinds of music, story telling, puppet shows, and much more. Visit rockportnye.org for a performance schedule and more information.

December 31, 2017  First Night Boston - Boston, Massachusetts
Free and open to all. Entertainment and special attractions will be focused in Copley Square and Back Bay. People’s Procession at 6:00 PM, fantastic ice sculptures, light displays and 7:00 PM Family Fireworks in Boston Common, and our signature Copley Countdown pyrotechnics and light show in Copley Square at midnight. In addition, arts and musical performances will take place in numerous indoor venues around the Back Bay.
