Annual Cape Cod Brew Fest
Cape Cod Fairgrounds, Massachusetts
Join us for this celebration of American craft brewers and sample from 75+ breweries and over 250 styles of beer. The event will have one session from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. The festival will feature live music and food trucks & vendors will be on-site for purchase. Every attendee will receive a custom glass. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Barnstable County Agricultural Society.  The Cape Cod Brew Fest is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies. No pets allowed.

October 1, 2016  Let's Talk About Food Festival
Boston, Massachusetts
Celebrity chefs, farmers, writers, great food thinkers and anyone with a passion for food will gather in Copley Square for the region’s largest public food festival and outdoor seminar.   Presented by Whole Foods Market and produced in conjunction with The Boston Globe, the free festival will celebrate and explore all aspects of the food system.   From food labeling to food allergies, food science to farming, fishing and cooking, the festival aims to engage the public in participatory and meaningful conversations about all aspects of the food system.  This fun and family-friendly event will offer a series of talks and demonstrations along with interactive activities, designed to engage and educate people on a series of topics, including health, nutrition, science, environment, cooking, farming and agriculture, aquaculture and fishing, sustainability, fisheries, food access, food safety and school food. October 8-9, 2016  13th Annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration
Wareham, Massachusetts
Hosted by the A.D. Makepeace Company and co-sponsored by the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association and Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.  Visitors are treated to demonstrations of the wet cranberry harvest, cooking demonstrations, an enormous tent full of juried crafters, paddleboat rides on scenic Tihonet Pond, food vendors, music, and more.  A great way to see and learn about the picturesque cranberry harvest, while enjoying some old-fashioned family fun.  Admission is $10, $5 for seniors and military, and children under 7 are admitted free.  Free Parking.  No pets, no dogs please.

New England food producers gather under a giant tent on one of Rockport’s historic working wharves to celebrate the best of local food with fresh seafood, pastries, cider doughnuts, chowder, small-batch jams, soups, and much more. A selection of local craft beers & wine, as well as soda from Rockport’s own Twin Lights Soda Company are on hand. Cooking demos, cookbook authors, the Rockport Farmers Market and plenty of live bluegrass, jazz, folk and celtic music are all part of the festival.

October 25, 2015  The Boston Farmers Dinner - Boston, Massachusetts
Imagine shutting down a street in Boston to host a festive farm to table dinner while hearing stories from local farmers. How about in the historic financial district as a menu of farm fresh cuisine is served to your table?   Gathered under the Boston autumn sky, we’ll be presenting the first ever, “Boston Farmers Dinner.”  Franklin Street (from the cross streets of Broad St. to Batterymarch St.) will be closed to traffic for a Farm To Table inspired dinner featuring locally sourced items from area farms.Long, linen-clad tables will be set up in two rows down the middle of the street with seating for over 200 guests. This five-course dinner, artfully created and prepared by Umbria Prime’s chefs, will feature an optional wine pairing for an additional fee. While enjoying the fresh, local food, guests will hear from a variety of speakers on pertinent topics including the farmers who provided the food for the event. Local activists who share a similar mission will speak about topics such as biodiversity and sustainability. This event allows people to come together and not only enjoy local food, but also find out how to better support local farms.

The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the new Dine Out Cape Ann.  Cape Ann is throwing away the tired restaurant week model and taking a fresh approach aimed at highlighting the unique flavor of each participating restaurant. The two week event will take place October 25th –  29th and November 1st –  5th, 2015, in restaurants throughout Cape Ann.  Participating restaurateurs have been asked to create exclusive menu options that embrace their particular venue and highlight what makes them unique – from dishes that feature local seafood to signature cocktails and food pairings. October 17, 2014  Bounty-ful: A Taste of the Farm Stand
Boston, Massachusetts
A fundraiser to support the Boston Bounty Bucks program - 6:00-8:30pm. The event will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Institute in the South End neighborhood of Boston. Bounty-ful will highlight tasting bites from local chefs, farm stand food producers, as well as samplings of local wine, spirits, and brews. This is a 21+ event.  What better way to support your local community than by sampling food from a variety of delicious local restaurants and food producers? Proceeds from this fundraiser help raise critical funds for Boston Bounty Bucks. The Boston Bounty Bucks program offers an affordable way to increase access to fresh, healthy and local food for low income residents of Boston. The event promises to be a great way to celebrate the harvest with local foodies while raising funds for a worthy cause.
