September 8-10, 2016  Lowell Food and Wine Festival
Lowell, Massachusetts
Celebrate the diverse culinary community of Lowell, great beers and wines, and the dreams of Lowell community organizations. The festival features tasting dishes for $6 or less from some of the area’s finest food trucks and restaurants. Festival-goers can engage with chefs, entrepreneurs, learn from cooking demonstrations, and educate themselves about amazing causes working to build community and fight poverty in Lowell, all while enjoying art, entertainment and a great variety show.

Annual Cambridge Carnival
Cambridge, Massachusetts
Cambridge's largest festival is held next to MIT and includes ethnic foods, 3 live music zones, a Kidsfest. Cambridge Carnival is a colorful and festive celebration that celebrates Cambridge's diverse and international community. This free festival is considered a Cambridge Institution, and is the largest festival in Cambridge, with thousands of attendees. The highlight of the festival is a grand costume parade accompanied by rich rhythmic musicality promoting all types of cultures. Participants can be seen as revelers masquerading through the streets in dazzling handmade costumes, dancing to the beat of the Carnival. The festival is also an opportunity to celebrate Cambridge's diversity, enjoy international foods, and purchase multicultural crafts from around the world!

September 15-18, 2016  5th Annual Taste of WGBH; Food & Wine Festival - Boston, Massachusetts
Building on the success of the past two years, we’re once again collaborating with some of the finest farms, producers, restaurants, wineries, and breweries in this region.    Among the new additions to our program this year is an extra day of indulgence on Sunday with our first-ever Brunch Bar. Join us for a weekend full of festivities that will not only satisfy your palate but also enrich your understanding of New England’s food culture.

Quincy, Massachusetts
The 2nd Annual Quincy Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival will feature over 25 local trucks paired with over 25 local craft breweries. There will be great food ranging from grilled cheese to cupcakes along with an Open Air Market.

September 18, 2016 - 7th Annual Boston Local Food Festival
Boston, Massachusetts
The Annual Boston Local Food Festival is Boston's premier food event and is ranked in the top 10 food events in the region. The festival is produced by SBN and is based on the principals of local, green and fair. This free-admission, zero waste, festival offers local farmers, restaurants, chefs, specialty producers, and related non-profits and service providers the opportunity to showcase their local culinary creations and programs in a lively outdoor festival setting.  The festival also features lively Chef & DIY Demos, a Seafood Throwdown competition, diverse music and performances, and a family fun zone.   Attendance: 30,000.


September 23-25, 2016  47th Annual Cape Cod Scallop Fest

September 24, 2016  22nd Annual Chili-Chowdah Festival
East Bridgewater, Massachusetts
The Annual Chili-Chowda Festival is in its 22nd year. Area restaurants and individuals can enter their chili and/or chowder to be voted on by the crowd. Live music throughout the day, fully stocked bars and draft beer, food booths and vendors, and a “Show & Shine” motorcycle competition. $10 admission and free parking. 21+, no pets. Cash only (ATM on site).

September 24-25, 2016  18th Annual North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival - Orange, Massachusetts
The schedule includes two stages of entertainment, workshops, agricultural and artistic booths, as well as a chefs tent featuring delectable demos. Festival proceeds keep the event sustainable and affordable, and support the community's regional arts, agriculture, health and energy projects.

Come enjoy oysters, quahogs and steamers by the bucket and meet the shellfishermen and women that farm them. This celebration of mollusks will showcase the varied salty delicacies of Massachusetts' waters as well as sustainable aquaculture traditions. Each grower will sell food and Samuel Adams Brewery will provide beer.
