Lowell Food and Wine Festival
Lowell, Massachusetts
Celebrate the diverse culinary community of Lowell, great beers and wines, and the dreams of Lowell community organizations. The festival features tasting dishes for $6 or less from some of the area’s finest food trucks and restaurants. Festival-goers can engage with chefs, entrepreneurs, learn from cooking demonstrations, and educate themselves about amazing causes working to build community and fight poverty in Lowell, all while enjoying art, entertainment and a great variety show.

September 10, 2017  Annual Cambridge Carnival
Cambridge, Massachusetts
Cambridge's largest festival is held next to MIT and includes ethnic foods, 3 live music zones, a Kidsfest. Cambridge Carnival is a colorful and festive celebration that celebrates Cambridge's diverse and international community. This free festival is considered a Cambridge Institution, and is the largest festival in Cambridge, with thousands of attendees. The highlight of the festival is a grand costume parade accompanied by rich rhythmic musicality promoting all types of cultures. Participants can be seen as revelers masquerading through the streets in dazzling handmade costumes, dancing to the beat of the Carnival. The festival is also an opportunity to celebrate Cambridge's diversity, enjoy international foods, and purchase multicultural crafts from around the world!

September 15, 2017  WHALE’s 27th Annual Wine Festival & Auction
New Bedford, Massachusetts
The festival will offer world-class wine, beer and food with specialties from the region’s finest restaurants and caterers. We host around twenty vendors and offer over 100 wines to try, including a beer selection. This year, tastings are presented by Lees Wine & Spirits. The silent auction with over 75 items will accept bids for antiques, collectibles, artwork and unique gifts.

September 17, 2017  Annual Boston Local Food Festival
Boston, Massachusetts
The Boston Local Food Festival, which will overlook historic Boston Harbor, is an outdoor, beginning of autumn celebration of the many virtues of locally grown and produced food. The most important objective of the Boston Local Food Festival is to increase accessibility and availability of healthy local food for all. Massachusetts eaters of all ages, races, and socioeconomic levels will see, taste, and appreciate the variety of healthy, delicious food choices that local specialty crops and products make available to them in their own back yard. This unique festival will bring Massachusetts farms, food businesses and speciality producers together with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, organizations, businesses, and local food advocates in an informative and fun way.  11am - 5pm.  Attendance: 30,000.

September 23, 2017  Phantom Gourmet Food Festival
Boston, Massachusetts

The 6th Let’s Talk About Food Festival returns to Copley Square. The festival lets participants dive into the most important food conversations and debate what's happening in society today. September 23-24, 2017  19th Annual North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival - Orange, Massachusetts
The schedule includes two stages of entertainment, workshops, agricultural and artistic booths, as well as a chefs tent featuring delectable demos. Festival proceeds keep the event sustainable and affordable, and support the community's regional arts, agriculture, health and energy projects.

East Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Area restaurants and individuals can enter their chili and/or chowder to be voted on by the crowd. Live music throughout the day, fully stocked bars and draft beer, food booths and vendors, and a “Show & Shine” motorcycle competition. $10 admission and free parking. 21+, no pets. Cash only (ATM on site).

Come enjoy oysters, quahogs and steamers by the bucket and meet the shellfishermen and women that farm them. This celebration of mollusks will showcase the varied salty delicacies of Massachusetts' waters as well as sustainable aquaculture traditions. Each grower will sell food and Samuel Adams Brewery will provide beer.
