April 2-4, 2015  North American Alpaca Show - Springfield, Massachusetts

April 4, 2015  Brew Woo - Worcester, Massachusetts
Worcester’s Original Craft Beer Festival, Brew Woo presented by The Ranch, returns for its fourth year with two sessions from 1:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the Convention Center of the DCU Center, Worcester’s premiere sporting and entertainment facility located in downtown Worcester.  The event will feature breweries with craft beers and local brews, live music, and several vendors.


April 11, 2015  9th Annual Future of Food and Nutrition Student Research Conference

Tufts University, Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.  A unique venue for graduate students across disciplines and from around the country to submit and present original research relating to the food system and nutrition science.

April 30, 2015  16th Annual Flavors of Neponset Valley Gala

May 9, 2015  BARS Annual Blessing of the Rakes
Osterville, Massachusetts
Barnstable Association for Recreational Shellfishing.  Bring your shellfish rakes, and have them blessed by local clergy for a bountiful harvest. Reed Baer, Pastor of West Parish Barnstable will officiate. Bring your rakes, and if you bring your bucket you can grab some clams after (if you have your shellfishing license).

Kick off planting season at our 33rd Annual Herb Festival, which offers an extensive plant sale (herbs, perennials, wildflowers, everlastings, annuals, the new specialty annuals and vegetables). The festival also features exhibits and demonstrations on the uses of herbs, guided garden walks, lectures and a delightful luncheon accented with herbs served on Friday.

May 16, 2015  The World's Largest Pancake Breakfast
Springfield, Massachusetts
A great way to meet neighbors and friends as the community sits down at Springfield’s breakfast table in celebration of the city’s May 14, 1636 founding. Serving thousands of people, volunteers prepare the menu including pancakes, coffee, juice and milk. The breakfast table runs down Main Street from Tower Square to Court Square.

May 17, 2015  9th Annual Taste of SouthCoast
New Bedford, Massachusetts
Sample and taste a variety of offerings from more than 20 area restaurants, caterers and bakeries.  A major feature of Taste of SouthCoast is a spirit of friendly competition that will culminate in awards. Participants cast their votes for their favorites in the following categories: The “People's Choice” Awards will go to the most voted for food and dessert offering and “Best Booth Presentation” awards will go to the participant that receives the most votes for best decorated and creative booth.   The “Taste” offers something for everyone to enjoy!  New England crafted beers, locally grown and bottled wines, and soft drinks are available to complement the food offerings.  The GLCPS will do face painting for children, The New Bedford Fire Museum will offer antique fire truck rides, and our friends from Buttonwood Park Zoo will bring surprise visitors.

May 27-June 2, 2015  Wellfleet Restaurant Week
Wellfleet, Massachusetts
The Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Sixth Annual Wellfleet Restaurant Week, a week-long celebration of food and dining, as well as a vehicle by which to get locals and visitors out & about, enjoying all the great dining venues our members have to offer.

May 29-30, 2015  American Craft Beer Fest - Boston, Massachusetts
The 8th annual ACBF, held at the Seaport World Trade Center, is the east coast's largest celebration of American beer, featuring over 140 American brewers and over 640 beers!   Attendance: 15,000.

June 2-4, 2015  33rd Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl
Boston, Massachusetts
Since its inception in 1983 this annual event has raised more than $3 million for cancer research and care. Come out and sample more than 40 flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and gelato at the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3-9, and kids under 3 are free. Attendance: 30,000.

June 12-13, 2015  4th Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest
Somerville, Massachusetts
A unique event that not only showcases local beverage producers, but also showcases local brews incorporating local ingredients. SBN's definition of local starts in Massachusetts and encompasses all of New England. Hyper-Local means local producers (from New England) making products with ingredients from New England. Examples in the past have included  brews made with local hops, apples, cranberries, grapes and even local oysters. While having unlimited 2oz tastings from local brewers, you can also sample and purchase delicious local food from vendors like Valicenti Organico, Red Lentil, Taza Chocolate, and more.  Tickets: $48.00.

June 13, 2015  Strawberry Day - East Sandwich, Massachusetts
Enjoy fresh strawberries in a homemade dessert served in the historic 1903 Jam Kitchen and view old fashioned strawberry jam making.  Sample jam tastings in our gift shop. Browse among the used book sale. Visit the resident animals, stroll the paths of the Wildflower Garden or walk the trails of the Old Briar Patch.

Bowls and bowls of fresh strawberries, whipped cream and piles of shortcakes are prepared and served by our volunteer members. Enjoy community booths, Friends of the Library book sale, live music and plenty of games for the kids.

June 14, 2015  Crush Wine Festival - Northhampton, Massachusetts
Crush Wine Festival is the premier local wine event in Massachusetts. Sample the finest locally made wines & artisanal food from across the Commonwealth. Crush Wine Festivals feature two ticketed tasting sessions to ensure that our guests enjoy a relaxed environment with ample opportunity to explore the unique offerings of each of our participating wineries. In addition, our festivals offer music, food sampling, a wine lovers photo booth and ask the expert opportunities as well as craft and farmers market vendors.   Ask about our limited number of VIP tickets! Crush Wine Festival participants must be at least 21 years of age with valid ID for admittance.

An entire day of food and fun, all to benefit the Joey Fund for Cystic Fibrosis. The event, which was founded in 1989, features a dozen kinds of hot dogs, other delicious foods, and tons of fun for up to 30,000 people seeking the best hot dog in New England.

June 20, 2015  4th Annual Worcester Food Truck Festival
Worcester, Massachusetts
We’re back in Worcester for our annual Worcester Food Truck Festival! We will be bringing back over 20 of the finest food trucks from across New England paired with New England’s favorite craft beer: Sam Adams! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a nice picnic in the beautiful park. There will be free face painting for kids as well as live music! What better way to kick off summer is there!?   Where: Elm Park in Worcester, MA.  What time: VIP Hour is 11am-12pm; General admission is 12pm-5pm.  How much: VIP tickets are $20; General admission is $5; children under 12 are free.

June 21, 2015  Annual Strawberry Festival - Assonet, Massachusetts
The Assonet Village Bandstand is the site for the festival, held every Father's Day, with homemade strawberry shortcake, arts/crafts, and music.

June 26, 2015  6th Annual Brewfest - Amesbury, Massachusetts
What makes the Amesbury Brew fest different from other area beer festivals or other Amesbury Days Events? For one thing, This is the only Amesbury days event from which proceeds support the Amesbury Days Celebration.  In addition, this festival is geared toward the smaller, lesser known brewers who put quality above quantity, who have passion, a unique message, and a stake in the art of beer making. Find out how they work, what inspires them, and what their signatures are with their individual brews. Come share some great beers and great company, join your neighbors this year at the Brew fest!

June 26-27, 2015  3rd Annual Boston Jerk Fest - Boston, Massachusetts
Come eat, drink, and be “irie” at Boston JerkFest, a Caribbean-style foodie festival featuring local Jamaican jerk food and entertainment for the whole family. It will take place in Boston’s South End at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. It’s two days of spicy fun in the sun! Starting Friday, 6-9:30pm at the Rum & Brew Tasting @ Boston JerkFest, which will feature live music and unlimited tastings. The fun continues at Boston JerkFest on Saturday with two sessions, 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm, both will feature live music and authentic jerk food from local Caribbean restaurants.

June 30-Aug 18, 2015  Wine & Spirit Tasting with BBQ
Lenox, Massachusetts
Join us in the Mansion every Tuesday beginning June 30 from 4-5pm for a complimentary Wine & Spirit Tasting.
