April 19, 2014  Brew Woo - Worcester, Massachusetts
Worcester’s Original Craft Beer Festival, Brew Woo presented by The Ranch, returns for its fourth year with two sessions from 1:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the Convention Center of the DCU Center, Worcester’s premiere sporting and entertainment facility located in downtown Worcester.  The event will feature breweries with craft beers and local brews, live music, and several vendors.


April 22, 2014  Earth Day - Worldwide
The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. The passage of the landmark Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and many other groundbreaking environmental laws soon followed. Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

April 23, 2014  22nd Annual Waltham Food and Wine Festival
Waltham, Massachusetts
Hosted at the Waltham Westin Hotel, over 500 hundred attendees will sip champagne while placing bids at the silent auction, followed by samples of fare prepared by some of Waltham’s most popular restaurants, all complemented by a wide range of fine wines chosen and served by the sommeliers of Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors.  Guests will enjoy performances by the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra while trying their luck in the raffle.

June 13-14, 2014  3rd Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest
Boston, Massachusetts
Local Craft Brewfest will showcase local breweries, cider, mead, artisan beverages, and food bites produced in Massachusetts and New England with an emphasis on local brews using local ingredients. Through our brewfest we hope to encourage individual consumers, food and beverage producers, and vendors to Think Local First.

June 19, 2014  Fresh Taste - Wellesley, Massachusetts
The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, today announced that its 8th annual Fresh Taste benefit will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6pm until 9pm at Elm Bank Reservation, Wellesley. Former WCVB anchor Susan Wornick will host the event, which will raise funds to support the Natick VNA in its endeavor to provide home health care to individuals throughout MetroWest, regardless of their ability to pay.   Wellesley Bank Charitable Foundation is the event’s Platinum Sponsor.

June 20-21, 2014  Lowell Food & Wine Festival - Lowell, Massachusetts
We are One 27 Global, a nonprofit organization that helps raise poverty awareness through community building events. Each One 27 Global event shows the human face of poverty and deepens our understanding of poverty and its impact on individuals, families and our communities. We are hosting our premier outdoor festival - the Lowell Food and Wine Festival. The opening reception will be held at Mill No. 5 in Lowell, at 6:30pm, followed by the Lowell Food and Wine Festival on June 21 at Lucy Larcon Park in Downtown Lowell from 11am-7pm. Area restaurants will sell their signature dishes at the event and there will be a VIP wine tasting for those that are interested.   Join us for a celebration of great food, great wines, great entertainment and an amazing nonprofit community!

May 11, 2013  The World's Largest Pancake Breakfast
Springfield, Massachusetts
A great way to meet neighbors and friends as the community sits down at Springfield’s breakfast table in celebration of the city’s May 14, 1636 founding. Serving thousands of people, volunteers prepare the menu including pancakes, coffee, juice and milk. The breakfast table runs down Main Street from Tower Square to Court Square.

May 17-19, 2013  Green Briar Herb Festival & Plant Sale
East Sandwich, Massachusetts
Kick off planting season at our 32nd Annual Herb Festival, which offers an extensive plant sale (herbs, perennials, wildflowers, everlastings, annuals, the new specialty annuals and vegetables). The festival also features exhibits and demonstrations on the uses of herbs, guided garden walks, lectures and a delightful luncheon accented with herbs served on Friday. Luncheon will again be catered by Bob King of Café Chew in Sandwich.

May 18, 2013  Phantom Gourmet Hot Dog Safari - Boston, Massachusetts
An entire day of food and fun, all to benefit the Joey Fund for Cystic Fibrosis. The event, which was founded in 1989, features a dozen kinds of hot dogs, other delicious foods, and tons of fun for up to 30,000 people seeking the best hot dog in New England.

May 29-June 5, 2013  Wellfleet Restaurant Week & Harborfest
Wellfleet, Massachusetts
The season hasn’t started and the crowds aren’t here yet. May 31-June 1, 2013  American Craft Beer Fest - Boston, Massachusetts
The 6th annual ACBF, held at the Seaport World Trade Center, is the east coast's largest celebration of American beer, featuring over 125 American brewers and over 600 beers!

June 4-6, 2013  31st Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl - Boston, Mass.
Since its inception in 1983 this annual event has raised more than $3 million for cancer research and care. Come out and sample more than 40 flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and gelato at the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festivval. Attendance: 30,000.

June 8, 2013  Cambridge Food Truck Festival - Cambridge, Massachusetts
Food Truck Festivals of New England LLC (FTFNE) believes that food trucks needn’t be a ‘treat’ restricted for city dwellers only, and we believe that, given the opportunity, people in all parts of Massachusetts and New England would not only like to eat, but would love the chance to sample gourmet food from the area’s best food trucks without having to make the trek into the 'big city!'

June 8, 2013  Strawberry Festival - Topsfield, Massachusetts
Bowls and bowls of fresh strawberries, whipped cream and piles of shortcakes are prepared and served by our volunteer members. Enjoy community booths, Friends of the Library book sale, live music and plenty of games for the kids.

June 8, 2013  Strawberry Day - East Sandwich, Massachusetts
Enjoy fresh strawberries in a homemade dessert served in the historic 1903 Jam Kitchen and view old fashioned strawberry jam making.  Sample jam tastings in our gift shop. Browse among the used book sale. Visit the resident animals, stroll the paths of the Wildflower Garden or walk the trails of the Old Briar Patch.  Special Demonstration by P.J. Hamel, author of the King Arthur Flour cookbooks and long-time King Arthur test kitchen baker. Ms. Hamel demonstrates fast and easy cream shortcakes, scones and Welsh cakes- all the perfect base for your tasty fresh-picked strawberries. Bring all of your baking questions for her to answer as well.

Marlborough, Massachusetts

June 13, 2013  Annual Taste of the Vineyard Gourmet Stroll
Edgartown, Massachusetts
This is your chance to sample the Vineyard's best food, wine and hand-crafted beers from more than 75 outstanding fine food and beverage participants. The event is held on the Old Whaling Church Lawn.

June 14-15, 2013  2nd Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest
Somerville (Seekonk), Massachusetts
Presented by Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) to highlight and promote local brewers, vintners, artisan beverage makers, home brewers, and food vendors and is a major annual fundraiser for SBN’s Boston Local Food Programs. A unique event that not only showcases local beverage producers, but also showcases local brews incorporating local ingredients! Examples in the past have included brews made with TAZA Chocolate, local hops, apples, cranberries, grapes and even local oysters! While having unlimited 2oz tastings from local brewers, you can also sample and purchase delicious local food from local food vendors.

June 16, 2013  Annual Strawberry Festival -  Assonet, Massachusetts
The Assonet Village Bandstand is the site for the festival, held every Father's Day, with homemade strawberry shortcake, arts/crafts, and music.
