June 12-13, 2015  4th Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest
Somerville, Massachusetts
A unique event that not only showcases local beverage producers, but also showcases local brews incorporating local ingredients. SBN's definition of local starts in Massachusetts and encompasses all of New England. Hyper-Local means local producers (from New England) making products with ingredients from New England. Examples in the past have included  brews made with local hops, apples, cranberries, grapes and even local oysters. While having unlimited 2oz tastings from local brewers, you can also sample and purchase delicious local food from vendors like Valicenti Organico, Red Lentil, Taza Chocolate, and more.  Tickets: $48.00.

June 21, 2015  7th Annual Quahog Day 2015 - Onset, Massachusetts
Quahog Day, now a rite of passage into summer on Cape Cod, answers the all-important question “How many weeks of beach weather lie ahead on the Cape?  Doug, a small mollusk perched in a red velvet-lined clamming basket, delivers the official prognostication to his human sidekick, Johnny Quahog, also affectionately known as The Secretary General of Quahog Republic.

April 19, 2014  Brew Woo - Worcester, Massachusetts
Worcester’s Original Craft Beer Festival, Brew Woo presented by The Ranch, returns for its fourth year with two sessions from 1:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the Convention Center of the DCU Center, Worcester’s premiere sporting and entertainment facility located in downtown Worcester.  The event will feature breweries with craft beers and local brews, live music, and several vendors.

April 23, 2014  22nd Annual Waltham Food and Wine Festival
Waltham, Massachusetts
Hosted at the Waltham Westin Hotel, over 500 hundred attendees will sip champagne while placing bids at the silent auction, followed by samples of fare prepared by some of Waltham’s most popular restaurants, all complemented by a wide range of fine wines chosen and served by the sommeliers of Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors.  Guests will enjoy performances by the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra while trying their luck in the raffle.

May 17, 2014  BARS 11th Annual Blessing of the Rakes

Barnstable Association for Recreational Shellfishing.  Bring your shellfish rakes, and have them blessed by local clergy for a bountiful harvest. Reed Baer, Pastor of West Parish Barnstable will officiate. Bring your rakes, and if you bring your bucket you can grab some clams after (if you have your shellfishing license).

June 3-5, 2014  32nd Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl

Since its inception in 1983 this annual event has raised more than $3 million for cancer research and care. Come out and sample more than 40 flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and gelato at the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival. Attendancd: 30,000.

June 8, 2014  Taste of Massachusetts Wine Festival

The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, today announced that its 8th annual Fresh Taste benefit will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6pm until 9pm at Elm Bank Reservation, Wellesley. Former WCVB anchor Susan Wornick will host the event, which will raise funds to support the Natick VNA in its endeavor to provide home health care to individuals throughout MetroWest, regardless of their ability to pay.   Wellesley Bank Charitable Foundation is the event’s Platinum Sponsor.
