February 15-18, 2017  National Farm Machinery Show & Tractor Pull
Louisville, Kentucky
The nation's largest indoor farm show with row after row of quality products and services, hands-on demonstrations of the latest technological advancements, and a variety of free seminars.  850 exhibitors will cover 1.2 million square feet of floor space as the National Farm Machinery show continues to be the largest indoor farm show in America.

March 6-10, 2017  National School Breakfast Week - Nationwide
National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) was launched in 1989 to raise awareness of the availability of the School Breakfast Program (SBP) to all children.

A day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture


April 22, 2017  Earth Day
Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

February 21, 2016  Hospice Chocolate Festival - Bowling Green, KY
The Chocolate Festival showcases culinary talent from over 30 local restaurants, including bakers, caterers, and community organizations. Last year had everything from chocolate covered bacon to chocolate martinis. Also, don't forget to vote for your favorite dessert and the best decorated booth.  Over 30 artist from across the region will be selling their goods and crafts throughout the festival as well. These include jewelry, art, gourmet food, and hand crafted items. We will have a silent auction including everything from weekend getaways to sports memorabilia. There will be live music, games, face painting, and a candy store for kids entertainment.

February 27, 2016 - 10th Annual Wine Walk - Newport, Kentucky
Participants will visit various Levee restaurants and sample different types of wine. Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association.

March 31-April 4, 2016 - The 173rd Annual Tater Day
Benton, Kentucky
The streets of Benton fill with thousands of people, all who have come to the annual celebration of the sweet potato. Tater Day started in 1842 with the trading and selling of sweet potatoes. Participate in this 3-day event featuring beauty pageants, gospel singing, Tater Day Fitness Trot, flea market, cook-off, arts & crafts, food concessions, and a parade.

April 22-23, 2016 - Spring Chicken Festival - Clinton, Kentucky
This annual festival is held on the fourth weekend in April with festivities beginning with a Chicken Idol singing contest on Friday, from 6 pm - 10 pm. The festivities kickoff on Saturday with a 5k/10k race that begins in Clinton and runs through the beautiful countryside of Hickman County. Throughout the day there will be live music by local artists from Carlisle, Hickman, and Fulton counties. Of course, it wouldn’t be a festival without delicious food. Other activities include arts & crafts booths, a corn hole tournament, antique farm equipment, fun run for kids, a petting zoo and a Wild-Wing Cook-Off contest.

April 23-24, 2016  Mountain Mushroom Festival - Irvine, Kentucky
A celebration of Estill County's Appalachian culture. Mushroom theme activities include a morel market, cook-off, cake decorating contest, mushroom hunter interviews, morel/shiitake cooking demonstrations, contest for largest and most mushrooms, Fungus 5K run/walk, parade, and window decorating contest.

April 28-May 8, 2016  17th Annual Herb Festival
Bowling Green, Kentucky
South's Largest Herb Festival!  Wild Bird and Nature Store’s annual Herb Festival! Choose from herbs, perennials, antique and knock-out roses, fountains, bird baths, antique garden art and more.

April 30, 2016  Kentucky Bourbon Festival Sampler
Bardstown, Kentucky
A fun-filled evening of sampling a variety of Kentucky bourbons and foods from area restaurants. The theme for September's Festival will be unveiled.

April 16-17, 2011  24th Annual Chocolate Festival
Washington, Kentucky
Vendors line the main street of this 1700's village.  Chocolate is also offered in the shops & museums. Activities include baking contests, candy hunts, entertainment, hourly drawings and chocolate creations contests.
