July 1-4, 2023
Houlton Agricultural Fair
Houlton, Maine
The Houlton Fair is a Family Fun Event and with this we have over 25+ games for the kids and the young at heart. On top of this we have Livestock shows, 4H Shows, 4 Horse shows, and also a Demolition Derby, Truck Pulls, Mud Runs & Antique Tractor Pulls.  Our goal is to provide education around Aroostook County's lifeblood - agriculture - through entertainment, showcases and demonstrations.

July 4, 2023  4TH OF JULY - Nationwide
There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th f July celebration.

July 6-9, 2023 - Ossipee Valley Fair - South Hiram, Maine
A true Country Fair with oodles of livestock events, competitions, demonstrations and exhibits.  Ossipee Valley Fair also offers: novelty events including egg toss, pie eating, watermelon seed spitting, etc. - horse and oxen pulling - a grand parade - farmer olympics - pig calling - 4-H events and exhibits - car and truck show - 4X4 racing - horseshoe pitching - tractor pulls - musical entertainment - arts and crafts - great food - midway rides and games - and a host of helpful fair volunteers.

July 8-16, 2023  Annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival
Fort Fairfield, Maine
The 9 day Maine Potato Blossom Festival features farmer olympics, road races, arts & crafts, fireworks, river races, and mashed potato wrestling. Lots of fun for the entire family.

July 13-16, 2023  Pittston Fair - Pittston, Maine
The Pittston Fair is known as "Maine's Friendliest Fair" and is located in Pittston, Maine on Route 194.  This year we celebrate by serving up fun, food, entertainment and agricultural competition and education for all ages.  Come and join the fun at one of the wonderful Agricultural Fairs of our great state!  Admission is only $6.00 for ages 15 and up and kids 14 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket!

July 14-16, 2023  Waterford World's Fair - Waterford, Maine
Down Home Agricultural Fair.  A small family oriented agricultural fair, featuring LOCAL vendors, entertainment and livestock. Old MacDonald's Barn full of animals to touch, outside stage with local talent, demonstrations & livestock exhibits

July 21-23, 2023  56th Yarmouth Clam Festival - Yarmouth, Maine
A long, hilarious parade; spectacular fireworks; clam shucking contests; a firefighter's muster; road, kayak, and bicycle races; a pancake breakfast; concerts; and, of course, a delicious array of food. Admission to the Festival and its events is free. (Always 3rd Friday in July).  Attendance: 100,000.

July 23, 2023  Open Farm Day - Statewide, Maine
An annual family adventure in which farms throughout all 16 counties open their gates to offer the public an opportunity to learn about the business of agriculture. Open Farm Day gives families the chance to visit local farms throughout the state.
 


 

July 26-28, 2023  Annual Kneading Conference  - Skowhegan, Maine
The annual KNEADING Conference brings together farmers, novice and professional bakers, and earth oven enthusiasts to explore the art and science of growing and milling grains and baking artisan breads. The purpose is to revive the practice of locally crafted bread, from seed to loaf.

July 26-30, 2023  Union Fair & Maine Wild Blueberry Festival
Union, Maine
A large family fair famous for the annual State of Maine Wild Blueberry Festival. Large midway, crafts, animal pull events, harness racing.

July 28-29, 2023  Antique Tractor & Engine Show - Eliot, Maine
Takes place on the picturesque 33 acre Raitt Homestead Farm Museum and features hundreds of tractors and engines, working displays of antique farm equipment, crafts,  food, entertainment, antique tractor pulls, kids' pedal tractor pulls,  tractor tour, and  displays depicting farming life.

July 29, 2023  Annual Artisan Bread Fair - Skowhegan, Maine
Free and open to the public. Wood-fired oven demonstrations, artisan bread samplings, and opportunities to talk with professional bakers and explore the best books, tools, and delicious accoutrements to artisan bread baking.

July 29, 2023  Woofstock: Family-Friendly, Dog-Friendly Food & Beer Festival - Kennebunk, Maine
Woofstock is a FREE family-friendly, dog-friendly beer and food festival held annually on the grounds of Animal Welfare Society, 46 Holland Road in Kennebunk, Maine.  Enjoy an afternoon of live music, food trucks, dozens of local craft brews and lots of doggone fun. There’s something for everyone including games, kids activities, dog agility courses, raffles, makers and craft vendors, giveaways and so much more!  Woofstock is presented by Maine Veterinary Medical Center and the Rarebreed family of veterinary partners. Sponsorships and donations support AWS’ Companions for Life Fund, dedicated to providing quality and affordable pet veterinary care.

July , 2021 - Summer Session Invitational Beer Festival
South Portland, Maine
EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  The biggest and best beer festival in Maine, hosted by the Maine Brewers’ Guild.  Featuring a new venue, located directly on the oceanfront in South Portland, Maine, surrounded by beaches, islands, and within the walls of an old military installation – this is going to be a scenic, sun-soaked festival better than any we have ever done.

July -, 2021  Annual Central Maine Egg Festival - Pittsfield, Maine
EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Celebrates the brown egg industry and is held annually. Activities include a parade, scholarship pageant, Early Bird Breakfast, chicken barbeque, street dance, "Egglympics," craft fair and usually fireworks on Saturday. Don't forget to see the world's largest frying pan!

A popular event with a wide variety of activities for the whole family on and around the Stonington Fish Pier. Includes Coast Guard demonstrations, Wacky Rowboat Races and a very spirited Codfish Relay Race.
