Acadia's Oktoberfest: Beer, Food, Music & Crafts Festival
Southwest Harbor, Maine
Acadia's Annual Oktoberfest.  Friday features the 9th Annual Wine Tasting, accompanied by music.  Saturday marks our 23rd Annual Brewfest, with food and Maine artisans selling their arts and crafts.

October 13, 2018  Peninsula Harvest Festival & The Winter Market!
Blue Hill, Maine
The Peninsula Harvest Festival will take place  from 11:00am – 3:00pm at Mainescape Garden Shop in Blue Hill. The group includes Mainescape, the Blue Hill Heritage Trust and several community members,  with assistance from the Chamber of Commerce.  Because of the success of the Taste of the Peninsula over the past several years, it seemed essential to carry on with an “end-of-season” festival. This will be a vendor driven event celebrating local farms, local food & drink, and local artisans.

October 14, 2018  Great Maine Apple Day - Unity, Maine
Celebrate the history, flavor and tradition of Maine apples. Educational workshops and talks on tree pruning, cooking, and cider making. See and taste heirloom varieties.

October 14, 2018  Maine Lobsterpalooza
Penobscot Bay Region, Maine
A celebration of all things Maine lobster in the Penobscot Bay Region, the Lobster Capitol of the Universe!

October 16-21, 2018  Harvest on the Harbor - Portland, Maine
Experience wine tastings, food seminars, cooking competitions, and gourmet cuisine from award-winning local chefs—the best of Maine food, wine, beer, and spirits set against breathtaking Casco Bay. The largest trade and consumer event in the state. The 3 day-event will feature more than 100 culinary exhibitors and hundreds of wines from around the world.  Attendance: 5,000

Annual Tree Lighting with Santa - Brunswick, Maine
Ring in the season with neighbors and friends at the Brunswick Downtown Association’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!  2pm – 5:00pm: Enjoy free Horse and Carriage rides, hot cocoa and coffee and cookies.  Santa and Frosty the Snowman will arrive at 3 PM on a firetruck Santa will then take a seat in the Gazebo to visit with children and hear their Christmas wishes.  4pm – 5:00pm: The Brunswick High School Chorus will sing carols.  5:00pm: The tree will be lit!  Small Business Saturday – Check back for the list of specials at our local shops & restaurants!  Brunswick Town Mall, Maine Street, Brunswick.

December 1, 2018  82nd Annual Christmas Fair - Brunswick, Maine
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 9:00 am-2:00 pm;  Treasures, Antiques, Handmade Christmas Items  gifts,  Jewelry, Fine Art, Knits, Stitches, Wreaths, Greens, Country Store with ornaments, pet stockings, homemade salsas, pickles; Baked Goods, Candy, Freezer Gourmet featuring ready to heat entrees for 2 or 4; Vermont Cheese, Kitchen Knives,! Free Pictures, Face Painting with SANTA CLAUS 10am-Noon;  Lunch 11:00 am-1 :00-pm. All proceeds benefit St. Paul’s Outreach Programs.

December 10, 2018 - Terra Madre Day - Worldwide
A worldwide celebration of local food held every year on December 10. Through hundreds of diverse and unique events across the globe, together we show that a global food revolution grows from local roots.

December 31, 2018 - Eastport Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop
Eastport, Maine
A giant sardine model drops from the top of one of the downtown's historic buildings, celebrating the new year and the area's past herring fishing and canning industries. A giant maple leaf drops simultaneously in homage to the island's Canadian neighbors a mile across the bay.

December 31, 2018  Countdown Bangor - Bangor, Maine
Free family-friendly events, with a variety of entertainment and outdoor musical performances, great food, and a grand finale beach ball drop at midnight in West Market Square.

Brunswick, Maine
Join us for our first ever Cookie Crawl in Downtown Brunswick! Shop, get sweet treats and support Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots.  -  Reserve your cookie tin on the website and pick it in the lobby of Senter Place on Saturday, December 6, between 10 AM and 2 PM for just $10.00 each.  Visit each of the 12 participating merchants on Maine Street and pick up a variety of individually wrapped cookies.
