TUNA PASTA SALAD

This tasty salad may be prepared pareve by eliminating the Parmesan cheese. Boost the flavor by increasing the spices and seasoning. Dairy Or Pareve Yield 6 Servings
BASIL-MAYONNAISE DRESSING • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted • 1/2 cup packed fresh basil leaves • 2 garlic cloves • 1 cup mayonnaise • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese for dairy
Directions 1. Process walnuts, basil and garlic. Mix in remaining ingredients.
PASTA • 8 ounces rotelle pasta • 3 cups broccoli florets • 12 ounces canned tuna fish, water-packed, drained and flaked • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved • 3/4 cup pitted black olives, sliced • 1 teaspoon pepper • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for dairy • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper • 3 green onions, sliced
Directions 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Add broccoli for last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and rinse under cold water and drain again.
2. Combine pasta with remaining ingredients and toss with Basil-Mayonnaise Dressing.
