Sept 26-Oct 2, 2011  Mackinac Island Restaurant Week - Mackinac Island, Michigan

September 29-Oct 2, 2011  Four Flags Area Apple Festival - Niles, Michigan
Bring your family and friends to the Apple Festival for many family oriented activities and a good time to be had by all.

October 1-2, 2011  Huron Township Applefest - New Boston, Michigan
The 32nd annual festival will showcase the friendly spirit that exists within our community with a parade, apple pie contest, fiddlers' contest, fun run, car show and entertainment.

October 5-9, 2011  Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival - Caro, Michigan

This event celebrates the migratory birds that make the Fennville area a popular fall hunting spot. Flock to the fun with a goose calling competition, rides, arts & crafts and a parade.

October 9-14, 2011  33rd Annual Charlevoix Apple Festival - Charlevoix, Michigan
Northern Michigan’s cool temperatures are said to produce tastier and more colorful fruit than those grown in warmer climates.  More than 30 types of apples, including the hard to find “antique varieties”, will be on hand as well as other fall harvest items such as pumpkins, squash, jam, honey, maple syrup and cider.

October 15-16, 2011  Apple Butter Festival - Lansing, Michigan
Help us stir our century old copper kettle full of bubbling hot apple butter. Watch crafts demonstrations such as quilting, pottery, lace making, wool spinning, and homemade herbal soaps and lotions. Activities for children include candle dipping and cider pressing.

October 28, 2011  Noto's 15th Biannual Charity Fall Wine Fest - Grand Rapids, Michigan

A day-long celebration of hog-proportion takes over the 14-acre Red Horse Ranch in Fennville. The Porkapalooza Invitational Cookout & Music Festival is a farm party and harvest celebration, showcasing the bounty of the Great Lakes’ in terms of food, drink, music, art and land.

October 25, 2009  Michigan Sustainable Stoup Competition - Grand Ledge, Michigan
Michigan restaurants & individuals will compete to see who creates the best stew or soup in Michigan with a focus on local, sustainably raised foods.
