The Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival is the premier fall festival in the Thumb of Michigan. The festival brings the beauty of Fall to downtown Caro with painted and decorated pumpkins from area schools.

The 35th annual festival will showcase the friendly spirit that exists within our community with a parade, apple pie contest, fiddlers' contest, fun run, car show and entertainment.
October 5, 2014 Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff - Plymouth, Michigan
19th Annual Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff will be held in Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth, Michigan, along with a motorcycle show, live bands, kids activities, food and vendor booths. All money raised from this event goes to local charities - Habitat for Humanity and Penrickton Center for Blind Children.

The festival’s focal point is the apple, proven to be the most popular fruit in North America. Northern Michigan’s cool temperatures are said to produce tastier and more colorful fruit than those grown in warmer climates. More than 30 types of apples will be on hand as well as other fall harvest items such as pumpkins, squash, jam, honey, maple syrup, pies and cider.

The Pumpkins Will Roll in Montague This famous Pumpkin Roll down the Dowling Hill begins at 11a.m. and will include many pumpkins events....largest pumpkin, pumpkin painting, seed spitting, pumpkin carving, pumpkin toss & pumpkin bowling. This popular event attracts hundreds of pumpkin rollers from all over Michigan, and even a few from surrounding states and beyond, ranging in all ages.

October 24, 2014 Noto's Fall Charity Wine Fest - Grand Rapids, Michigan
