The Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival is the premier fall festival in the Thumb of Michigan. The festival brings the beauty of Fall to downtown Caro with painted and decorated pumpkins from area schools.

October 5-6, 2013 Huron Township Applefest - New Boston, Michigan
The 34th annual festival will showcase the friendly spirit that exists within our community with a parade, apple pie contest, fiddlers' contest, fun run, car show and entertainment.
October 11-12, 2013 24th Annual Davison Pumpkin Fest
The schedule of events includes Taste of Davison, parade, fish fry, 5K run, music, pumpkin derby & contest and much more!
October 11-13, 2013 45th Annual Charlevoix Apple Fest
The festival’s focal point is the apple, proven to be the most popular fruit in North America. Northern Michigan’s cool temperatures are said to produce tastier and more colorful fruit than those grown in warmer climates. More than 30 types of apples will be on hand as well as other fall harvest items such as pumpkins, squash, jam, honey, maple syrup, pies and cider.
October 12, 2013 The Carve at Holland Farmers Market
Like to play with your food? Then this is the event for you! Culinary students from schools across the nation will compete in a national fruit and vegetable carving competition. The students will show off their creative talent and carving skills while creating works of art with produce from the Market. A team of professionals will judge whose sculptures are a cut above the rest.

October 12-13, 2013 30th Annual Fennville Goose Festival
This event celebrates the migratory birds that make the Fennville area a popular fall hunting spot. Flock to the fun with a goose calling competition, rides, arts & crafts and a parade.
October 12-13, 2013 Apple Butter Festival - Lansing, Michigan
Help us stir our century old copper kettle full of bubbling hot apple butter. Watch crafts demonstrations such as quilting, pottery, lace making, wool spinning, and homemade herbal soaps and lotions. Activities for children include candle dipping and cider pressing.
