Celebrate the beginning of summer with a casual after hours bash at the zoo! Enjoy tastings of beer & wine and sample fabulous hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants as you listen to live music. And of course, all our animal residents will be there! *This is a 21 & older event

May 14-17, 2020  60th National Morel Mushroom Festival
Boyne City, Michigan
An annual event for over 50 years. The amazing festival weekend will include a mushroom hunt, food, music and recipes. Restaurants prepare exotic, morel-laden entrees, local songsters sing of the morel (click on the player to the left to listen), secret hunting places (maybe) and recipes (definitely) are shared, and everybody goes on one of the mushroom hunts.

May 15-16, 2020  World Expo of Beer - Frankenmuth, Michigan
Harvey Kern Pavilion in Heritage Park.  The expo, brought to you every year by the Jaycees, is Michigan's Largest Beer Sampling event, with 500 different beers available from around the world.
