May 18-21, 2017 - National Morel Mushroom Festival
Boyne City, Michigan
An annual event for over 50 years. The amazing festival weekend will include a mushroom hunt, food, music and recipes. Restaurants prepare exotic, morel-laden entrees, local songsters sing of the morel (click on the player to the left to listen), secret hunting places (maybe) and recipes (definitely) are shared, and everybody goes on one of the mushroom hunts

The expo, brought to you every year by the Jaycees, is Michigan's Largest Beer Sampling event, with 300 different beers available from around the world.

 Annual Camp Bacon
- Ann Arbor, Michigan
Zingerman's Annual Camp Bacon celebrates all things bacon - from bacon makers, producers, poets, historians and musicians - all brought to you in a full day of learning, eating and fun. The Main Event is changing venues this year, moving out to Cornman Farms in Dexter, Michigan and begins at 7:30 am for breakfast.  Camp Bacon is a fundraiser in Ann Arbor, MI for Southern Foodways Alliance that brings together Bacon-Lovers, -Makers, Cooks, Curers and anyone who likes to learn, eat and enjoy cured and smoked pork belly. Curious? I hope so. Camp Bacon is four days of all things bacon — eating, learning, listening, tasting and talking; a pork-centric party that features everything from poetry to pigs.

June 2, 2016  Taste of White Lake - Whitehall, Michigan
A Fundraiser for the Howmet Playhouse join the community for great flavors at the 8th Annual Taste of White Lake. A mix of local businesses join forces to provide an evening of fun, great food, Michigan beer & wine, live music, and a silent auction, all benefiting the Playhouse. Don't miss out on this delicious event! The doors open at 5:00pm.

June 4, 2016  Art, Beer & Wine Festival - Jackson, Michigan
The Ella Sharp Museum presents the 12th annual Art, Beer & Wine Festival on June 4, 2016! The museum plans to host over 30 local wineries and breweries, 40+ artists, and nearly 2,500 guests! Festival goers will enjoy live music and artist booths nestled on the grounds of the Ella Sharp Museum and within the courtyard of the museum’s historic Hillside Farm Lane.

June 5, 2016  Taste of Ann Arbor - Ann Arbor, Michigan
For more than 20 years, Taste of Ann Arbor has been the unofficial kick-off of the summer festival season. The streets are always packed with curious food fans tasting the best that our restaurants have to offer.

June 10-11, 2016  Strawberry Festival - Hartford, Michigan
The schedule includes crowning of Prince/Princess and Sweetest Strawberry Baby, live entertainment, Strawberry Run, car show, sports tournaments, parade, and strawberry pie-eating contest.

June 10-11, 2016 - Battle Creek Cereal Festival - Battle Creek, Michigan
Celebrating Battle Creek's varied heritage.  World's longest breakfast table, arts crafts, parade.

June 10-12, 2016 - 16th Annual Gizzard Fest - Potterville, Michigan
Many events including a gizzard eating contest, parade, antique tractor show, hot chick/rooster call, live entertainment, and much more.

June 10-12, 2016  National Asparagus Festival
Oceana County, Michigan
Oceana County is known as 'The Asparagus Capital of the Nation'  The Festival is held every year during the second weekend of June in Oceana County. Events include a Grand Parade, Family Activities, Arts & Crafts Fair, Motorcycle Run, 5k Run, Asparagus Food Show and much more!

June 12, 2016  Traverse Colantha Walker Dairy Festival
Traverse City, Michigan
The festival recognizes Colantha, the Holstein dairy cow.  Of the 96 Holstein-Friesian cows that comprised the former Traverse City State Hospital’s herd, Colantha was by far the most prolific. In 1926, she produced 22,918 pounds of milk in a single year, making her the highest producer in the world! According to a Federal census during that same year, the State average production was only 3,918 lbs. of milk per cow per year! In her lifetime, from 1916 to 1932, her total production was 200,114.9 pounds of milk. Wow!  Activities include a pancake breakfast, farmers market, Great Grilled Cheese Grill-Off, food, art, live music, food demonstrations, wine & cheese pairings, milk & cookie pairings for the kids and a parade to Colantha's headstone.

June 12-17, 2016  Ann Arbor Restaurant Week - Ann Arbor, Michigan
Restaurant Week is your opportunity to try as many great Ann Arbor restaurants as your schedule allows for one incredibly low fixed price. Ever wondered about that restaurant you thought might be out of your price range?? Restaurant Week is your chance to give it a try with the security of knowing exactly what you will be spending. Restaurant Week happens twice a year, in January and June.

June 16-17, 2016  Houghton Rotary Seafood Fest - Houghton, Michigan
Always held on Father's Day weekend in conjunction with Bridgefest, the event offers a chance to sample your favorite seafood, listen to music and join in the fun.

June 16-19, 2016 - 52nd Annual Michigan Sugar Festival
Sebewaing, Michigan
Celebrating the area's role in growing and processing sugar beets. Grand parade, golf outing, midway, entertainment tent, candy drop and other children's activities, and crowning of the Michigan Sugar Queen, "the sweetest girl in the world".

June 17-18, 2016  Taste of Muskegon - Muskegon, Michigan
Taste of Muskegon is back with the wonderful flavors of Muskegon's restaurants, bakeries, beverages and family activities! It's happening Friday, along with Party in the Park until 11:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am - 11:00pm.

June 17-19, 2016  Belleville National Strawberry Festival
Belleville, Michigan
Held every Fathers Day weekend with a parade and many other berry special events!  Attendance: 200,000.

June 18, 2016  Cheese Town Challenge Race & Festival
Pinconning, Michigan
CheeseTown Challenge Race, cheese cooking demonstration, Cheesy parade, CheeseTown Dad Contest, great live music, Ultimate Mac & Cheese Cook off, and fireworks and much more.

June 18, 2016  4th Annual Lansing Beer Fest - Lansing, Michigan
Lansing Beer Fest is a outdoor beer festival on Washington Avenue that will feature 30 Michigan Breweries and 100+ craft beers and Live Music.  A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the REO Town Commercial Association. Detroit Beer Press will be here creating one of a kind stamped coasters. Stop by their booth and receive a FREE Lansing Beer Fest coaster while supples last!

June 18, 2016  Strawberry Fest - Coldwater, Michigan
Stroll down Chicago Street where flats of strawberries and other strawberry delights may be purchased. The sidewalks are filled with nearly a hundred arts and crafts vendors. Look for the special kids' area. Always the 3rd Saturday in June.

June 18, 2016  Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival
Weko Beach, Bridgman, Michigan
Presented by Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail and Southwest Michigan Tourist Council, in conjunction with The Greater Bridgman Area Chamber and Growth Alliance, the always-popular event will take place from 1 to 10 p.m. Eastern Time, under a "Big-Top Tent." Over 4,000 guests are expected to attend and sample all of the wonderful Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail's locally-grown-and-produced varietals. Delicious cuisine from local caterers will be available for wine aficionados and the entire family!

June 25, 2016  PastyFest 2016 - Calumet, Michigan
This festival celebrates the Cornish pasty, which is pastry filled with beef, sliced potato, turnip or rutabaga and onion, and baked. Pasties were traditionally eaten by copper miners in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Events include the Pasty Walk and Pasty Parade, music, pasty bake-off, and children's games, including the dreaded Pasty Pull.

June 25, 2016  Traverse City Wine & Art Festival
Traverse City, Michigan
The festival is a landmark celebration of the wine, food and culture of Michigan’s wine coast, featuring wines from wineries of the Leelanau Peninsula, Old Mission Peninsula, Traverse City & Benzie along with a selection of the area's finest restaurants serving gourmet food and desserts. Live entertainment.  Attendance: 4,000.

June 25-26, 2016  Sticky Buns Day - Grayling, Michigan
Wellington Farm, USA is a 60-acre open-air interpretive museum designed to provide an educational opportunity for visitors to experience life as it was in rural mid-America during The Great Depression.  Through a series of displays, a wide variety of exhibits, and beautiful natural settings, the park provides a variety of educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for visitors to Northern Michigan.

June 14, 2015  Alden Strawberry Festival - Alden, Michigan
The annual old fashioned festival at Alden Depot Park is fun for the whole family, with Michigan strawberries served over homemade shortcake and topped with real whip cream, along with live entertainment and do-it-yourself strawberry kits to take home.

June 6-9, 2013  Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival - Frankenmuth, Michigan
Voted "Top 5 Festivals in the State of Michigan" by AAA's Michigan Living Magazine. Bavarian music played by authentically dressed German bands, two outstanding parades, rides and games. Saturday's Kinder Tag (Kid's Day) is sure to have something for children of all ages. Taste buds are tempted to their limit with a variety of delicious German foods and desserts. And to top it all off, plenty of refreshing ice-cold beer - Imported and Domestic! Attendance: 100,000.

June 20, 2013  Wine and Craft Beer Tasting - Royal Oak, Michigan
Join the American Cancer Society's Associate Baron's Council for an evening of sampling wines from around the world as well as craft beers brewed right here in Michigan. Guests will also enjoy a silent auction throughout the evening.

June 7, 2012  8th Dinner with the Winemaker of Old Mission Peninsula
Traverse City, Michigan
Winemakers will attend to meet with guests.  Proprietor and Sommelier Amanda Danielson plans this event every year to " . . . showcase the best wines grown on Old Mission Peninsula alongside a world-class menu created specifically for the individual wines chosen."   The wine dinner illustrates her strong conviction that local wines deserve attention.
