September 9, 2018  6th Annual Wine in the Woods
Flagstaff, Arizona
Enjoy the annual Wine in the Woods festival, showcasing Arizona wineries and local eateries among the beautiful gardens at The Arboretum at Flagstaff. All proceeds benefit the Arboretum at Flagstaff.  11am – 6pm.  $35 General Public Pre-sale/ $50 at the door - $30 Members Pre-sale  /  $40 Members at the door.

September 15, 2018 - 7th Annual Rockin' Taco Street Fest
Chandler, Arizona
A food, music and cultural celebration, Rockin' Taco Street Fest will feature creative tacos including fish, shrimp, chicken, carnitas, carne asada, veggie and more from two dozen local restaurants. Wash it all down with fresh fruit fresca, Mexican cerveza, tequila tasting, margaritas and more. Plus, save room for elote, churros and palettas! Other event highlights include live entertainment, wrestling, taco eating competitions, a salsa competition,  low rider car show, margarita hut with flair bartending, mariachi bands, ballet folklorico dancing, niños play zone and a piñata party.

Statewide, Arizona
More than 200 restaurants offer specialty prix-fixe dinners.  This statewide affair offers foodies a wealth of dining opportunities and the chance to get outside their own neighborhood and try something new. From sizzling Southwestern and soothing comfort foods to five-star dining and international fare – it’s all on the table during Arizona Restaurant Week.

Fort Tuthill County Park, Arizona
3 special activity and exhibits areas: arts and culture, conservation and sustainable environment and variety stage, as well as traditional fair exhibits, livestock shows and auction, cultural presentations, a wide variety of commercial and food vendors,  Attendance: 45,000.

Apples? In Arizona? Actually, Southeastern Arizona’s elevation is ideal for orchards. Each year Apple Annie’s Orchard & Produce in Willcox hosts a harvest celebration, when you can pick apples, fill up on pancakes doused in cider syrup, hop on a hayride or opt for peaches and pears, which are also ripe then.  August 26-27; Sept 2-4 & 9-10, 2017.

September 3, 2017 - Southern Arizona Salsa & Tequila Challenge
Tucson, Arizona
For 7 years, cocktail craft and culinary creativity is taken to a new level at Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance’s Annual Salsa and Tequila Challenge.  Tequila infused popsicles, sno-cones, and mixed drinks will surprise attendees with refreshing colors, while kimchi, blueberry-jalapeno and “Smokeless Fire” salsas will spice up their palettes.

September 4-10, 2017  71st Annual Navajo Nation Fair
Window Rock, Arizona
The fair was established in 1938 to stimulate livestock improvements and management through exhibits for the Navajo people. It has become a world-renowned event that showcases Navajo agriculture, fine arts and crafts, with the promotion and preservation of the Navajo heritage by providing cultural entertainment.

September 7-9, 2017  Northern Gila County Fair
Payson Event Center, Arizona
The Annual County fair is truly a “home-grown” fair featuring everything from farm animals to blue ribbon pies. This year there will be live entertainment, educational booths, food, and fun for children of all ages. Horse show & livestock, small animals, agriculture, floriculture, handicrafts, lapidary, fine arts, photography, and other exhibits will be on display.

Presented by The Arboretum and the Sustainable Economic Development Initiative.  Cost: $35 in advance; $50 day of event; $30 for Arboretum members (includes 10 tickets for wine and food tasting and a complimentary wine glass); Children 12 and under enter for free when accompanied by parent. Additional tasting tickets are available for purchase at the event.

Learn all about alpacas. Food & drink vendors will be on site. We will have plenty of picnic tables. Kids can create and take home a free arts and crafts project from the Kids Cabin.

September 5-6, 2014  9th Annual Rhythm and Ribs Country Music Festival - Cottonwood, Arizona
We are expanding to a 2 day event with over 25 KCBS BBQ teams.  Sample ribs from the best!  Not only are we expanding the Ribs competition, we are bringing in more micro-breweries for you to test and taste.  We have added additional competitions for your enjoyment! The Ribs Cook-Off is still the featured event, but who wants more food to savor?  For the second year, the Rhythm & Ribs cook-off is a KCBS-sanctioned event. This year expect to see over 25 professional BBQ teams and sample to best ribs in the Southwest.
