JULY 4, 2014 - There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.


July 11-12, 2014  Ace in the Hole BBQ Cookoff - Holbrook, Arizona
Whiskey Ranch Pro BBQ Series will be teaming up with the City of Holbrook and Old West Days again. Competitions will be held in the Kansas City BBQ Society categories Chicken, Ribs, Pork & Brisket. This event is supporting some great charities, so please come out and have a good time!

 

July 18-19, 2014  Camp Verde Corn Fest 2014 - Camp Verde, Arizona
The Verde Valley of central Arizona has the best sweet corn you have ever tasted! The Camp Verde Cornfest started 22 years ago as a way to not only feature our wonderful corn, but to have fun with our friends and neighbors at the height of the corn season and the summer.  We always begin on Friday at 3pm with activities for all ages, music, vendors and, of course, hot, roasted, buttered sweet corn. We will also sell uncooked corn by the dozen.  Saturday is a full day with more delicious corn and even more to do.

August 2-3, 2014  HarvestFest 2014 - Elgin, Arizona
Wine tasting, a souvenir glass, winery tours, food and wine pairings, and horse drawn wagon rides through the vineyard. Hosted by Sonoita Vineyards.

September ???, 2014  Flavors of Tucson - Tucson, Arizona
Flavors is a culinary experience that goes beyond the traditional gala and provides each table of attendees with a local chef who will prepare a multi-course dinner tableside. The meal that is delivered will showcase the signature dishes of our culinary experts and take you beyond the usual restaurant fare. Unleash your inner "foodie" and experience a distinct evening of dining while helping to fund the research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Liver Foundation.

August 31, 2013  Taylor Sweet Corn Festival - Taylor, Arizona
100 Y"ears" and Growing! Events include arts & crafts, parade, ranch rodeo, BBQ, and of course Sweet Corn.

August 31-Sept 2, 2013  Apple Harvest Celebration 2013 - Willcox, AZ
Apples? In Arizona? Actually, Southeastern Arizona’s elevation is ideal for orchards. Each Labor Day weekend, Apple Annie’s Orchard & Produce in Willcox hosts a harvest celebration, when you can pick apples, fill up on pancakes doused in cider syrup, hop on a hayride or opt for peaches and pears, which are also ripe then.

September 2-8, 2013  Navajo Nation Fair - Window Rock, Arizona
The fair was established in 1938 to stimulate livestock improvements and management through exhibits for the Navajo people. It has become a world-renowned event that showcases Navajo agriculture, fine arts and crafts, with the promotion and preservation of the Navajo heritage by providing cultural entertainment.

September 21, 2013  Cooks and Chords - Tucson, Arizona
Cooks & Chords is the 5th Annual National MS Society, Arizona Chapter tasting event. This year's event will be taking place at the Tucson Botanical Gardens beautiful gardens and reception area. Stations of chef-prepared dishes paired with delicious spirits and wonderfully-appointed acoustic music will tantalize guests as they browse packages in our raffle and silent auction. Guests will enjoy an inspirational program that will include an update on MS research.

September 27-28, 2013  7th Annual SalsaFest - Safford, Arizona
Events include the Salsa Challenge for both amateurs and professionals, jalapeno eating competition, salsa slurp competition, hot air balloons, chihuahua races and costume contest, and kids korner.

September 28, 2013  Cooks and Chords - Scottsdate, Arizona
Cooks & Chords is the 7th Annual National MS Society, Arizona Chapter tasting event. This year's event will be taking place in Mayo Clinic's beautiful reception area nestled among the foothills of scenic Scottsdale. Stations of chef-prepared dishes paired with delicious spirits and wonderfully-appointed acoustic music will tantalize guests as they browse packages in our raffle and silent auction. Guests will enjoy an inspirational program that will include an update on MS research by a Mayo Clinic Neurologist.

Yavapai Cattle Growers 80th Annual Calf Sale & BBQ
Peeples Valley, Arizona
The event began in 1933 as a way to raise money for the national organization-today known as The National Cattlemen's Beef Association-which was, at the time, in danger of financial collapse. Calf judging workshop, quarterhorse sale, western art, crafts and jewelry, sport shooting trailer, wildlife display and more.
