July 1-4, 2014  Shoals Catfish Festival
Shoals, Indiana
There is literally something for everyone: sporting events, contests, parade, fireworks, fishing contest, cooking contest, and catfish served up piping hot in the food court.

July 18-19, 2014  Wine, Brew & Bar-B-Que Too
New Palestine, Indiana
Teams will compete for $10,000 in prize money at the Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event. There will be Indiana wines and brews, as well as live entertainment all day.

 

July 24-26, 2014  St. Joe Pickle Festival - St. Joe, Indiana

July 24-27, 2014  BBQ RibFest - Indy 2014 - Indianapolis, Indiana
Welcome to BBQ RibFest Indy!  The tastiest fest in the Midwest!!  Featuring seven national award-winning teams featured on the food channel and a few of your local favorites.  Fun for the whole family. Games, rides, facepainting, clowns, balloons and fun!

July 25-26, 2014  20th Annual Hot Dog Festival - Frankfort, Indiana
Hot Dog Tent, Arts & Crafts, Dachshund Races, Entertainment, Flea Market, Food Booths. Organizers were inspired by the school mascot, the Hot Dog.

July 25-27, 2014  Whiting Pierogi Fest - Whiting, Indiana
Pierogis, polka, parades and more. Meet Mr. Pierogi and friends!  Drawing almost 200,000 visitors each year, the Festival is the pride of Whiting. It allows us to celebrate our heritage while poking a little fun at ourselves at the same time. Where else can you see grown women dressed up like our grandmothers (bushas, as we say) in housecoats and babushkas? Or the lawnmower brigade strut through town with sandals and socks on like or dads did? You'll also see life-size polish pastries and goodies walking and talking waiting to take a picture with you. Only at Whiting's Pierogi Fest.

July 31-Aug 2, 2014  Owensville Watermelon Festival & Parade
Owensville, Indiana
Come out for rides, food, crafts, watermelon pageants, bingo, raffles, bands and a variety show!

August 1-17, 2014  Indiana State Fair - Indianapolis, Indiana
Celebrating the Hoosier Spirit, the Fair includes Family Fun Park, Livestock Barns, Entertainment, Machinery Field, Parades, Midway, Culinary Stage, Antique Tractor Show, Brewer's Cup Competition, and Taste of the Wild Cookout, as well as World's Largest Male Hog, Giant Pumpkin, Giant Watermelon, Giant Tomato, Smoothie Blend-off, and Celebrity Milking Contests.

August 2, 2014  Watermelon Festival & "Great American Grill-Off"
Vincennes, Indiana

August 16, 2014  Wabash Herb Fest - Wabash, Indiana
Held at the Paradise Spring Historical Park, this unique festival offers educational seminars, herbs, flowers, garden decor and other crafts.

August 16, 2014  Taste of Kokomo - Kokomo, Indiana
Join us in Foster Park on August 16 along with 30+ restaurants, Beer Tent, Kids Korner and plenty of food competitions under the Big Event Tent.  This year events kick off at 5:30 with the Gourmet Burger. Contestants grill 6, 4 oz. burgers for a panel of judges and the people's choice. Two ways to win! David Tharp, last year's champion, will be defending his title! Bring your burger down if you dare!  At 6:30 there is a pizza eating contest! Do you have a huge appetite? We are still looking for contestants to prove their eating stills! Last year's winner Zach Boyd will be eating his way to the title!  At 7:30 is the Taco Throwdown! Come down and vote on your favorite taco from across Howard County!  And last but not least our Hot Wing Eating Contest made by The Social! Still looking for contenders!

August 23, 2014  Taste of the Gardens - Elkhart, Indiana
This unique event, located at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens, combines fine art with the finest in culinary art. In its first year it brought record crowds to enjoy artists' work, music, and the cuisine of area restaurants, all within the beautiful setting of the gardens.

July 21, 2012  Clabber Girl BBQ Fest Challenge - Terre Haute, Indiana
The Annual Clabber Girl Brickyard BBQ Fest held each July will be spicing things up this year and 2012 will mark the name change of the event to the Clabber Girl BBQ Fest Challenge. It will be held on July 21 in the Clabber Girl Festival Marketplace located at Ninth Street between Wabash Avenue and Cherry Street bordering Clabber Girl and Hulman Center.  The event will showcase a variety of challenges including the Gladiator Challenge, Terre Haute Firefighters Water Ball Challenge, and the first ever Chef's Challenge that will feature local community members. the best BBQ dishes to a festival crowd of race fans and BBQ lovers.  Festival-goers will also enjoy musical acts, a beer garden, food vendors, and children's entertainment.
