Here’s what will be happening: 1st the Big Day is Saturday NOVEMBER 3rd, and the 1st event that day will be KBA’s support and hosting of the Kauai Veterans Parade, and It’s BACK IN KAPAA again. The second Event will be, for want of a better title, A CocoFest Lite, and the third event will be a bigger 1st Saturday Event both in the town center and for the first time ever, in the Kapaa Beach Park as well.

A fundraiser event to support Paepae o He'eia. This is the first time our annual fundraiser will be held on location at the beautiful and historic He'eia Fishpond. Celebrated chefs Andrew Le of The Pig & The Lady, Ed Kenney of Town Hospitality Group, Lee Anne Wong of Koko Head Cafe, Mark "Gooch" Noguchi of MISSION Social Hall & Cafe and Kealoha Domingo of NuiKealoha will be serving up delicacies directly from He?eia Fishpond. Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning musicians Kainani Kahaunaele and Ernie Cruz Jr. will serenade you throughout the evening. There will also be live and silent auctions, a hosted bar to include an Awa station, and food stations spanning the fishpond wall, so please wear footwear appropriate for walking. Proceeds from this event will directly support the future cultivation of local and sustainable seafood in the fishpond. In doing so, we honor the legacy of the fishpond as a place of traditional Hawaiian aquaculture and will activate the 800-year old pond for its intended purpose – to grow food for our community.
December 31, 2015 - Pineapple Drop - Mililani, Hawaii
New York City has its famous New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square. Mililani has a big, round, lighted pineapple that will drop from a 60-foot flag pole in Mililani Town Center. This one’s family-friendly, too; you don’t ever have to wait until midnight for the finale. Join local bands Streetlight cadence and Crimson Apple to welcome 2016.
