SPONGE CAKE

Makes 8-10 servings Prep Time: 15 minutes Baking Time: 35-40 minutes
Ingredients • 4 eggs • 2 cups flour • 2 cups sugar • 2 tsp. baking powder • 1 cup hot milk • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions 1. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs well.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add alternately with milk to the beaten eggs.
3. Stir in vanilla.
4. Pour batter into a greased tube pan or a 9 x 13 baking pan.
5. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
