September 1-6, 2021 Twin Falls County Fair and Magic Valley Stampede Twin Falls County, Idaho 100 Years of Fun! The Twin Falls County Fair and Magic Valley Stampede is known for its entertaining, educational, and lively activities. This year our goal is to make the Fair as impressive as ever, which means making it grow and prosper, while maintaining a strong agriculturally-based, family-oriented atmosphere. This year’s mission is to hold on to the enthusiasm and maintain the success experienced with positive press and feedback from patrons. Attendance: 92,000. September 3-5, 2021 Annual Kamiah BBQ Days - Kamiah, Idaho In 1936, a group of community minded merchants began to offer a free barbeque dinner as a way of saying thank you to area residents for their patronage. The Kamiah Chamber has carried on the tradition of BBQ Days for more than 70 years, organizing and sponsoring nearly every aspect of the Labor Day weekend event. Today, thousands of residents, former residents, and visitors take part in BBQ Days - and the event continues to grow each year. September 3-11, 2021 Eastern Idaho State Fair - Blackfoot, Idaho Attracting over 200,000 visitors, the fair offers agricultural exhibits, free entertainment, carnival, parade, rodeos, and delicious fair foods. Attendance: 219,000. September 17, 2021 Annual Zoo Brew - Idaho Falls, Idaho Tautphaus Park Zoo, 5-9pm. Enjoy an evening at the Zoo when the animals are active and you can taste some delicious brews. Tickets are $30 in advance. September 18, 2021 93rd Annual Idaho Spud Day - Shelley, Idaho Shelley Idaho Kiwanis Club. Annual Idaho Spud Day is a country-style gala celebration of the Idaho potato offering fun for visitors of all ages. Events include a parade, music, demolition derby, free baked potato lunch at noon, Dutch oven cook-off, World championship potato picking, and Spud Tug. September 23-26, 2021 Annual Nez Perce County Fair Lewiston, Idaho A Celebration of the special qualities of life in Nez Perce County. 4-H livestock, horticulture, home economics, fine arts, and entertainment. The Nez Perce County Fair presents an opportunity for both young and old to exhibit their special skills and hard work. September 24-25, 2021 28th Annual Harvest Festival & Street Fair Emmett, Idaho Among the many charms of a rural lifestyle is Harvest Time. This important season marks the rewards of a year of hard work preparing, planting, tending, and more tending. The reward of months of toil. Harvest is celebrated when the region's crops come in. There is feasting drawn form the crops of the season and a sense of relief, relaxation and lots of social gathering to share in the delights of another year's accomplishment. Join us again this year for another celebration of our harvest! This is a FREE event to attend full of wonderful food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and entertainment! December 31, 2021 7th Annual Idaho Potato Drop - Boise, Idaho This New Year’s Eve in Downtown Boise, the Idaho New Year’s Commission & The Idaho Potato Commission, will be hosting the annual Idaho Potato Drop for thousands of spec-taters in front of the Idaho State Capitol. The Idaho New Year’s Commission hosts a free community New Year’s Eve celebration to ring in the new year with a lasting tradition that puts Idaho on the map as a world destination for New Year’s Eve. With music, fun, fireworks, games and a true VIP experience, this event promotes community and commerce in Idaho while creating awareness for Idaho’s beloved Potato. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to programs helping Idaho’s homeless population.
