September 2-4, 2016 80th Annual Kamiah BBQ Days - Kamiah, Idaho
In 1936, a group of community minded merchants began to offer a free barbeque dinner as a way of saying thank you to area residents for their patronage. The Kamiah Chamber has carried on the tradition of BBQ Days for more than 70 years, organizing and sponsoring nearly every aspect of the Labor Day weekend event. Today, thousands of residents, former residents, and visitors take part in BBQ Days - and the event continues to grow each year.

24th Annual Fall Fest
We have 8 bands playing over 3 days and we’ll be serving up several Regional Wines, Hard Ciders and over 60 Regional Micro Beers on tap! For the kids we’ll have the soda tent where they can mix their own flavors and create wild concoctions. We’ll have arts, crafts and food vendors throughout the village and live music playing all 3 days. The ever-popular souvenir mugs, glasses and steins will be on sale all weekend as well as several other Fall Fest souvenirs. This is the final weekend of summer operations and the chairlift will be open for sightseeing, hiking and mountain biking at a discounted rate (full day ticket for the price of a single ride ticket).

Attracting over 200,000 visitors, the fair offers agricultural exhibits, free entertainment, carnival, parade, rodeos, and delicious fair foods. Attendance: 219,000
October 7-8, 2016 24th Annual Harvest Festival Street Fair
Among the many charms of a rural lifestyle is Harvest Time. This important season marks the rewards of a year of hard work preparing, planting, tending, and more tending. The reward of months of toil. Harvest is celebrated when the region's crops come in. There is feasting drawn form the crops of the season and a sense of relief, relaxation and lots of social gathering to share in the delights of another year's accomplishment. Join us again this year for another celebration of our harvest! This is a FREE event to attend full of wonderful food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and entertainment! Local orchards are available for picking too!
October 7-8, 2016 Oktoberfest - Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
Join us in the quaint little village of Lava Hot Springs for a family-friendly Oktoberfest weekend stuffed full of food, activities, and entertainment! You’ll find a Beer Garden featuring seasonal food and drink, Oktoberfest-Dressed Contest, the Punkin Chunkin’ Event, the Crazy Hampster Race, Duck Race Raffle, Costumed 5k & 10k Fun Run/Walk/Bike, Live Music, Inflatables for the Kids, Bingo, and more!
September 16, 2016 5th Annual Zoo Brew - Idaho Falls, Idaho
Tautphaus Park Zoo, 5-9pm. Enjoy an evening at the Zoo when the animals are active and you can taste some delicious brews. Tickets are $35 in advance.
September 17, 2016 88th Annual Idaho Spud Day - Shelley, Idaho
Shelley Idaho Kiwanis Club. Annual Idaho Spud Day is a country-style gala celebration of the Idaho potato offering fun for visitors of all ages. Events include a parade, music, demolition derby, free baked potato lunch at noon, Dutch oven cook-off, World championship potato picking, and Spud Tug.

A Celebration of the special qualities of life in Nez Perce County. 4-H livestock, horticulture, home economics, fine arts, and entertainment. The Nez Perce County Fair presents an opportunity for both young and old to exhibit their special skills and hard work.

20th Anniversary. A cultural heritage festival relating to the history of sheep ranching in Idaho. December 31, 2015 Idaho Potato Drop - Boise, Idaho
This New Year’s Eve in Downtown Boise, the Idaho New Year’s Commission & The Idaho Potato Commission, will be hosting the 3rd annual Idaho Potato Drop for thousands of spec-taters in front of the Idaho State Capitol. The Idaho New Year’s Commission hosts a free community New Year’s Eve celebration to ring in the new year with a lasting tradition that puts Idaho on the map as a world destination for New Year’s Eve. With music, fun, fireworks, games and a true VIP experience, this event promotes community and commerce in Idaho while creating awareness for Idaho’s beloved Potato. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to programs helping Idaho’s homeless population. To help raise money for this effort please purchase VIP tickets, t-shirts, sweaters and gear or be a hero and donate at Potato Drop Shop.
