FRENCH ONION DIP

12 servings 
Preparation Time: 15 Minutes 
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes 


INGREDIENTS
1/2 tablespoon butter
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 carton (8 ounces) sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
 

DIRECTIONS
1.
In medium skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until melted; add onion. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned. Remove from heat, stir in Worcestershire sauce. Cool completely.

2. In bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; mix until blended.

3. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. Serve with French-fried potatoes or roasted potato wedges.
