Cordova Fungus Festival
Cordova, Alaska
Throughout this three day event, Fungus Festival attendees will have opportunities to learn more about local mushrooms, participate in mushroom related arts and crafts, and celebrate mushrooms and other wild harvested foods in a Wild Food Dinner.  There will be daily guided forays, an identification table and an expert key note speaker.

Girdwood, Alaska
Autumn would not be the same without a festive atmosphere celebrating the many attributes of beer. Both weekends include authentic German fare, souvenir mugs, polka bands plus live music by some of Alaska's favorite bands.

October 6-7, 2017  Oktoberfest - Anchorage, Alaska
Join the German Club of Anchorage and Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. in celebrating Oktoberfest.  Come out and enjoy traditional German music, dancing, food, and entertainment. Live bands, bell ringers and consessions. German beer, wine and soft drinks to be sold.

November 3-5, 2017 - Sitka WhaleFest - Sitka, Alaska
The Annual Sitka WhaleFest is a program of the Sitka Sound Science Center. The 2017 Sitka WhaleFest’s theme is “The Making-Of: Behind the Scenes of Science.”  The event hosts a unique science symposium blending local knowledge and scientific inquiry concerning the rich marine environment of the North Pacific. The festival includes many community and cultural activities such as the science symposium lectures, interactive student sessions, marine wildlife cruises with scientist, a marine themed artisan market, music, local foods, a banquet, art and a fun run/walk.

September 3, 2016 - Wild Harvest Feast - Cordova, Alaska
The Copper River Watershed Project Presents: The Fungus Festival’s Wild Harvest Feast.  Enjoy appetizer and entree of seasonal coho salmon and wild mushrooms by Chef Stephen Beaumier and Katy Oursler of ForageSF, wine, and wild berry desserts.  Featuring a silent auction of handmade arts and crafts: fungus-dyed fibers, truffle butter, homemade jams, a Linee Perkins quilt, hand-blown glass by Britt Pedicord and much more! Proceeds benefit the Copper River Watershed’s scholarships and educational programs.  Copper River Seafood Cookhouse $65/plate.

We’re taking the party outside for the only street party recreating Bourbon Street, featuring authentic Cajun cuisine from local celebrity chefs, live music, and street performers. Raises money for the American Red Cross of Alaska.
