July 2-3, 2023 - Taste of Minnesota - Minneapolis, Minnesota
Downtown Minneapolis, Noon to 8pm.

July 7-8, 2023 - Corn & Clover Carnival - Hinckley, Minnesota
Huge Midway, Bingo, lots of food. Celebrating 100 years from the very first carnival. This will be the 82nd carnival - as there were several years the carnival was not held due to the Depression.

July 7-9, 2023  Hopped Up Caribou Brewfest - Lutsen, Minnesota
Caribou Highlands Lodge in Lutsen, Minn. The event features an expansive list of craft brewers, live music and variety of activities.  Many new and returning breweries will be present at the festival. Weekend ticket holders will get full access to events with lodging at Caribou Highlands Lodge. Tickets can also be purchased for some activities on a per-event basis, including the beer tasting, Friday’s dinner and the concerts.  Hopped Up Caribou is the dog-friendliest beer festival in the state. Dog-friendly lodging is available for the weekend.
 


 

July 7-9, 2023  74th World’s Largest Wild Rice Festival
Deer River, Minnesota
The World's Largest Wild Rice Festival for over 70 years, a celebration of wild rice, one of the area's natural staples.  Today's wild rice festivals sponsored by the Deer River Lions Club feature a full schedule of activities designed to bring the whole Deer River Area Community together for a weekend of fun, food, entertainment, and fellowship. Whether you are young or old, there is always something to see and do at the festival.

July 12-16, 2023  89th Raspberry Festival - Hopkins, Minnesota
A Tradition Preserved. The festival features a search for the Golden Raspberry, the Grande Day Parade, a Family Day and much more.

July 12-16, 2023  Winona County Fair - St. Charles, Minnesota
The Winona County Fair will include 4-H/FFA shows and exhibits, livestock shows and sale, open class dairy cattle show, music, miniature horse show, children's rides, demonstrations, square dancing, bingo, antique tractor parade, flat track motorcycle racing, truck and tractor pull, pedal pull, trailer races, horseshoes tournament, lego building contest, open class talent show, commercial exhibits, beverage tent, food, and more.

July 13, 2023 - Annual Hot Dog Nite - Luverne, Minnesota
10,000 FREE Hot Dogs and beverage given away by Luverne Area Chamber Members from 5:30 pm until gone.  Annual Wienerman Triathlon challenges athletes to run, bike, and eat hot dogs on their way to the finish line ....begins at 7 pm.  Wiener Dog Beauty Contest and Wiener Dog Race on Main Street beginning at 7:15 pm.  Live music and beer garden on Main.

July 13-16, 2023  Big Stone County Fair - Clinton, Minnesota
Carnival rides, 4-H exhibits, car derby, horse show, 4-H rodeo, vendors (food & businesses), livestock auction and more.

July 14-16, 2023  Wannigan Days - Taylors Falls, Minnesota
Taylor Falls, MN and St Croix Falls, WI. 'Wannigan' is an Indian word for a lumberman's floating cook shack. Events include the Interstate Wannigan Parade, street dance, touring 1855 Folsom House Museum, riverboat cruises, tug of war across the St. Croix River, food, music, craft fair and more. July 15-16, 2023  Annual Raspberries & Wine Festival
Chisago City, Minnesota
Celebrate summer at Winehaven with hourly vineyard tours, complimentary wine tasting and lunch at the vineyard.  We will also be releasing our new batch of Raspberry Wine!

July 15-16, 2023  13th Annual Middle Eastern Festival
West St. Paul, Minnesota
St. George Church.  Highlights include Middle Eastern cuisine, live entertainment, a traditional marketplace, games for children and camel rides. Admission is free.  The menu includes: roast lamb on the spit, chicken kabobs, kafta, falafel, hummus, gyros, tabouli, delicious pastries and the church's famous Syrian bread.  Beer, wine and soft drinks will also be served.

July 18-19, 2023  Beanhole Days - Pequot Lakes, Minnesota
Burying of the Beans Ceremony is held every July. The beans, prepared by secret recipe behind locked doors, are buried in huge cast iron kettles and cooked over a wood fire for 24 hours. Since 1938, this tradition brings thousands together as they share a free lunch of baked beans, dinner roll, and beverage.  Also a Queen and King Bean Coronation, an arts and crafts fair, food market, children's games,

July 19-22, 2023  Wabasha County Fair - Plainview, Minnesota
There are tons of activities for the young and old!  Swine Show, Beef Show, Sheep and Meat Goat Show, Dairy Goat Show, Dairy Show, Llama Show, Pet Show, Cat Show, Poultry Show, Rabbit Show, Riverland Polka Band, Senior Citizen day, Redneck Olympics, Bobcat Rodeo, Funtime Functions & face painting, Bean Bag tournament, YO-YO show, Peddle Pull, Human Foosball, Generations band, Demolitions derby, Wabasha 500 Power Wheels Car race, and more!!!  Cost: Free – ADMISSION IS FREE!! Parking is $4 a day or $7 for a season pass!

July 20-August 31, 2023  Mississippi Sippin' - Winona, Minnesota
Thursdays. Savor The Tastes And Sip The Terroir Of The Driftless.  Relax outdoors along the Minnesota Marine Art Museum's Riverwalk, Thursdays this summer at  Mississippi Sippin. A perennial summer favorite, this evening presents a casual opportunity to explore how many art forms can be inspired by water. Enjoy a curated selection of spirited and non-spirited beverages, and small plates outside along the Mississippi River. Then, venture into the galleries (open late until 8pm) to see how exhibiting artists are using water as inspiration for their work.

July 21-23, 2023  Aebleskiver Days - Tyler, Minnesota
Annual celebration of Danish heritage. Danish sandwiches, and the aebleskive - a tennis ball shaped Danish pancake. Games for the kids, crafts and entertainment for the adults, and of course, good food everywhere.

July 21-23, 2023  Catfish Derby Days - Franklin, Minnesota
City festival with fishing contest, pageant, street dances, chess, sports tournaments, parade, food and beverage vendors.

July 21-24, 2023  Muskie Days - Nevis, Minnesota
Celebration includes kids' activities, fish fry. horseshoe contest, flea market, parade, scavenger hunt, carnival games, beer garden and street dance.

July 24-30, 2023  Corn Capital Days - Olivia, Minnesota
Celebrating Olivia, located in one of the most productive agricultural areas in the United States and known as the "Corn Capital of the World," having the highest concentration of seed research and processing companies of any place in the globe.

July 25-27, 2023 - North Star Ag Expo - Medford, Minnesota

July 24, 2021  Bacon and Beer Classic: Twin Cities
St. Paul, Minnesota
COLUMBIA Golf Course.  Bacon & Beer is BACK! With a few tasty tweaks, some updated safety measures, and a brand new venue, we’re rolling into 2021 with our heads high and our (beer) glasses full. With no actual golfing involved, we’re converting these incredible courses into a bacon & beer, outdoor oasis. Follow along the 9-hole tasting trail, as you sample larger, gourmet portions from local chefs and choose from over 40+ craft beers!

Bread Making Day
Preston, Minnesota
Historic Forestville in Preston. Bread is the staff of life and is the most widely consumed food in the world. Step back into 1899 and observe costumed guides as they complete the weekly task of bread making. Nineteenth-century techniques of bread making will be showcased with opportunities for hands on participation.

July 9, 2016  The Great Minnesota Pie Extravaganza
Grand Rapids, Minnesota
A good cook and plenty of food held a logging camp together. While meat, potatoes, and beans were the cook shack staples, it was the pies the men loved most. Held at the Forest History Center, this event allows visitors to contrast pies served in the logging camps with modern day creations.

July 17-18, 2015  Festa Italiana Minnesota - St. Paul, Minnesota
Established in 2010, Festa Italiana MN began its huge endeavor to produce a Festival celebrating the vibrant culture of Italy and the fascinating story of Italian Americans in Minnesota. We want to preserve our rich Italian heritage and share it with Minnesotans of all ethnic backgrounds.

July 29-August 2, 2015  86th Annual Fisherman's Picnic
Grand Marais, Minnesota
This is way more than just shore lunch!  It’s the Annual Fisherman’s Picnic and downtown Grand Marais is filled with visitors, crazy days sales, craft show, daily contests and prizes, live music, kids activities, and so much more!  Fireworks on Saturday night and Parade on Sunday afternoon!  The Lions Club BIG raffle includes a grand prize of $10,000 and lots of other great prizes for $5.00 a ticket.  The Big Fish contest offers prizes in six categories.  There is more fun competition with Tennis and Softball Tournaments, the Trail Run and Professional Log Rolling Tournament.  Oh, and the Lions Club serves up their famous fishburgers: hand-breaded, deep-fried Lake Supeior Herring on a bun by the hundreds!  (also: www.visitcookcounty.com/entry/?id=1769 )
