We'll have goat races, goat cuddling, and goat picture opportunities, t-shirt cannon launches, exciting beer poking, and new merch to collect. Check-in begins at 12 pm, Live Music from 2 pm-6 pm, goat races will occur at multiple times, and all other great offerings will be available throughout the day. Though Goat Fest's official hours are from 12 pm-6 pm, Schram Haus Brewery will stay open until its usual 10 pm closing time that night, so the celebrations can continue into the evening! Adults and kids alike are welcome to join in the festivities, but please leave your furry friends at home and pet the goats instead!

The event will be held in the area of the park between Wirth Lake Beach and JD Rivers’ Children’s Garden, near the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Xerxes Avenue. EVENT CANCELED FOR 2022. Minnesota History Center. The Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest features rare, vintage and specialty one-off beers from 30 select craft breweries from across the United States, including 10 here from Minnesota. This one-of-a-kind event will showcase the creativity and skill of some of the the top craft brewers in the country. A wonderful lineup of food is complimentary to all guests with paid admission. Guests will enjoy items such as sausages from Ferndale Market, spent grain bread (spent grain courtesy of Fulton Brewery), beer fest skewers, root vegetable chips, and assorted desserts. Refreshments like coffee, hot cider, and Buddy's Orange, Grape and Strawberry sodas will be available as well. Live music. Tickets are $100, which includes admittance to event, a commemorative tasting glass, printed program, unlimited sampling of rare beers, catered food, and live music. A portion of your ticket is donated directly to Pints For Prostates.
