59th Kentucky Apple Festival
Paintsville, Kentucky
Always the first Saturday in October.  You absolutely cannot come to the Apple Festival without eating a Tiger Ear, or a Fried Apple Pie. But you don't have to stop there, with dozens of food booths all conveniently located in the downtown area, you can try one of everything.  Crafter's come from all over the United States to sell their hand made crafts here at the Apple Festival. So come and join us won't you, bring the kids and we guarantee that you will find something for everyone, and we know that you and your family will have a great time at the Kentucky Apple Festival.

October 7-8, 2023  37th Annual Farm Festival - Owensboro, Kentucky
Located at Lampkin Farm at 8284 Short Station Road in Daviess County, features John Deere Tractors & Equipment from the 1800's to the present. Family fun including kiddie rides, tractor pulls, antique cars & trucks, and a flea & craft market.

October 13-14, 2023  47th Trigg County Country Ham Festival
Cadiz, Kentucky
A celebration of the county's world-famous country hams, and the world's largest edible country ham biscuit!  Attendance: 50,000.

October 1, 2022  Annual Metcalfe County Pumpkin Festival
Edmonton, Kentucky
A day full of food, and music and events including a 5K Run/Walk, car cruise-in, beauty pageant, tractor show, karaoke, dance, and children's parade.


 

October 22-23, 2022  Reid's Orchard Annual Apple Festival
Owensboro, Kentucky
The Apple Festival is an event for the whole family with 20 food booths, 90 crafts booths, entertainment, demonstrations and carnival riders. The festival has been named a Top 10 event by the Kentucky Tourism Council and a Top 20 event by the southeast Tourism Society which covers eleven states. Save the dates on your calendar.

October 2, 2021 - Wine on the River - Louisville, Kentucky
Come join us in 2021 from 2pm - 6pm as we travel through different regions spanning the globe. Sample wine and spirits specific to a certain regions. EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Our cook-off event has been sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society and named a KY State Championship Competition by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear. $10,000 in cash prizes up for grabs!

October 3-5, 2019 - 14th Annual Fort Harrod Beef Festival
Fort Harrod, Kentucky
Who grills the best steak? Who grills the best Burger? These and other titles will be on the line at the Annual Fort Harrod Beef Festival.  The festival weekend is chocked full of activities for all age groups. Mercer County Fairgrounds.  We would love to have you join us as we celebrate Kentucky’s beef industry!  Entrance into the festival is FREE, but there is a charge for some activities.

The Great Pumpkin Fest
Utica, Kentucky
Everything pumpkins...... A celebration filled with pumpkins. The Great Pumpkin Hunt will begin at 2PM (Children bring your baskets). Prizes Given. The event will include pumpkin painting and contest, Guess the Weight of the Giant Pumpkin, pumpkin bowling, Funky Pumpkin Game, pumpkin sculpting and contest, a pumpkin toss, and face painting. October 4-6, 2018 - 23rd Annual Harvest Festival Antique Engine & Tractor Show - Renfro Valley, Kentucky
An old-fashioned celebration of the fall harvest including molasses made by mule-drawn press, authentic covered wagon train, antique farm machinery and steam engine show, clogging, mountain music, children's activities, country and comedy talent search and craft demonstrations featuring blacksmithing and basket weaving.

October 8, 2016 - Harvest Fest - Newport, Kentucky
Restaurants and retail shops in the Historic Newport Downtown Business District are hosting their Sixth Annual Harvest Fest. The fun begins at just before the lunch hour with lots to see, do and enjoy on Monmouth at the many businesses and vendor spots between Third and Eleventh Street. Monmouth Street will remain open to vehicular traffic. Harvest Fest showcases dining, entertainment and shopping venues and specials.

October 8, 2016  The Tastemaker's Supper - Loretto, Kentucky
Join us on the beautiful grounds of the historic Maker's Mark Distillery for a delicious Deep Run Roots-inspired country supper and meet guest of honor, Vivian Howard, star of the James Beard Award-winning television series A Chef's Life.  We'll be pouring some of Vivian's favorite bourbon cocktails and setting the table, family-style, with signature dishes from her brand new cookbook Deep Run Roots (Little Brown, 2016).
