Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week, an event promoted by the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce, is celebrating its 8th year. The 2 week-long culinary celebration offers ‘foodies’ an opportunity to experience top-notch dining or casual cuisine, at all your favorite hot spots. Don’t hesitate to try something new! The annual event is a great benefit for both diners and the restaurant community. An incredible array of different cuisines is a cornerstone of the beach vibrancy.  During Restaurant Week, each participating restaurant will offer a delicious prix fixe menu priced from $15 to $35. Some restaurants offer a prix fixe menu for lunch at prices of $10 to $15. Restaurants will be competing for the “Best in Class” in a variety of categories. Diners will have an opportunity to vote on their experience at each restaurant. Each vote will be entered into a drawing for great prizes.

Local restaurants will again compete to for bragging rights as a Taste of the Beach winner in the categories of entree, Appetizer and desert.  Admission is free and food and beverages can be purchased throughout the day.  Proceeds from this year's event will again go to the Betty Griffin House, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse.

Spanish culture permeates the colonial city. Spanish wine distributors as well as local and regional restaurants will provide a celebration of heritage foods, wine, dance and culture.

September 15-Oct 15, 2017 - WineDine Key West - Key West, Florida
Cuisine connoisseurs can enjoy multicourse prix fixe meals at as many as 30 Key West restaurants during WineDine KeyWest, billed as the island's first restaurant month.  The culinary celebration was "cooked up" by the team behind the popular annual Key West Food & Wine Festival to promote fine dining and showcase the flavors of Key West.  During WineDine KeyWest, Certonio said 30 participating restaurants are to offer three-course meals priced at approximately $20 per person for lunch and $35 per person for dinner.  Restaurants include casual waterfront spots, trendy bistros, eateries specializing in fresh Florida Keys seafood and award-winning gourmet emporiums.  Diners can register free at the website which details the featured restaurants and their menus, as well as other local businesses from spas to lodging properties and boutiques with enticing offers for event participants. An additional website section introduces diners to the Florida Keys chefs behind the selected restaurants' fare.

September 5, 2016 - South Florida Auto Food Fest - Miami, Florida
Food Truck Exhibition – place where food truck enthusiast gather to sample products from some of the best food trucks, meet celebrity chefs & enjoy live entertainment.  The South Florida Auto Food Fest “Food Truck Food Contest” is a food contest where specially selected chefs and the public chooses the best food truck in 10 separate categories. The categories include Best Appetizer, Sandwich, Soup, Salad, Entrée, Side Dish, Desert, Drink, Overall, & People’s Choice. Food Trucks / Vendors are not required to participate in the Food Truck Food Contest.

September 28, 2016  Signature Chefs Auction - Bonita Springs, Florida
