CUMIN-SCENTED RICE
Serves 4
2/3 cup long-grained rice 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed 2 teaspoons butter 1 1/2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking Directions In medium saucepan sauté rice and cumin seed in butter until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add water and salt, bring to boil; lower heat and simmer 12-15 minutes.
Serving Suggestions This simply seasoned rice includes aromatic cumin seed. Serve rice with Pork Chops, pork curry. Garnish rice with chopped fresh cilantro.
