Asheville Artisan Bread Bakers Festival
Asheville, North Carolina
NEXT EVENT WILL BE IN 2025.  Celebrating local farmers, millers and bakers – the first of its kind in the Southeast -- will feature the talents of five of the most respected bakers in the United States: Lionel Vatinet, Didier Rosada, Peter Reinhart, Dominique Homo, and Harry Peemoeller. This event offers an opportunity for bread enthusiasts and professional bakers to break bread together, to improve their baking skills, share ideas, and network within the artisan bread community.

April 12-13, 2024 - Annual Bone Suckin’ Sauce Peak City Pig Fest
Apex, North Carolina
Historic Apex, a community situated at the highest point on the Chatham Railroad between Richmond, VA and Jacksonville FL, hosts the KCBS sactioned BBQ competition. Teams from all over the country will compete for prize money cooking chicken, ribs, beef brisket and pork.  Attendance: 10,000.

April 12-14, 2024 - OBX Taste of The Beach
Outer Banks, North Carolina
Food and Wine Festival on the Outer Banks.  A fantastic way to sample the fare of many fine restaurants on the Outer Banks in one fun-filled, food-centric weekend! Casual chefs to full-on foodie fanatics will revel in innovative culinary opportunities offered up by members of the Outer Banks Restaurant Association. You can indulge in a fancy wine dinner one night and mix with the masses in an organic farm to fork experience the next. Or maybe an intimate cooking class with one of the area’s world class chefs is more your speed. We offer over 60 events over four days at nearly 40 different venues.  This fun food festival event features: wine tastings, cooking classes, special multi-course menu presentations, brewery tours, tapas crawls, cook-offs, showdowns and throwdowns, dine-arounds and many more culinary delights! It’s four days of foodie heaven and lots of fun activities on the Outer Banks.

April 26-28, 2024  34th Asheville Spring Herb Festival
Asheville, North Carolina
WNC Ag Center . This is the largest festival of its kind in the Southeast. Not only can you find every type of garden and cooking herb imaginable, you can also see how herbs are transformed into medicines, salves, balms, soaps and teas.   Attendance: 35,000.

April 27, 2024  Spring Festival at Rocky River Vineyards
Midland, North Carolina
The Spring festival includes local artist, wine tasings and a Fish Fry and ending with great  music from two different bands. The artist will be selling mosaic items, birdbaths, gazing balls, hand beaded jewelry, unique clothing, scarves,gournet canned foods, peach salsa, cranberry pecan spread, purses, sterling silver jewelry, barn wood furniture just to name a few.  The wine tasing will be paired with a few select food items. This event is free enter and open to the public so people come out and enjoy the atmosphere with our great wine. If you are staying for music bring a lawn chair. From 12 :00 AM  to 6:00 PM

Knotts Island, North Carolina
Featuring a Low Country Boil, a plate ticket of $30 will include a heaping dinner plate and gate admission. A gate admission ticket of $10 will allow you to choose from one of our other well-known area Food Trucks. Mane Events Cocktails will have specially created beverages available while Sanctuary Vineyards and Outer Banks Distilling also showcase their beverages.  50+ local area vendors will be in attendance showcasing their crafts and products.

Loaded Up and Truckin' is a party, a festival, and a competition to showcase this culture. Food trucks push the culinary boundaries by bringing fresh, innovative, and delicious dishes straight to the people. You've seen food trucks near craft breweries, music venues, trailheads and festivals - Loaded Up and Truckin' brings all of this to one place.  Every food truck will have a full menu available for purchase, so there are plenty of options to peruse while jammin’ to live music and enjoying a beer.

April 5, 2019 - Culinary Stars And Whispering Angel Dinner
Highlands, North Carolina
Some of the most popular women of taste come together at The Farm for a celebration of spring sips and flavors. Chefs Sarah Steffan of “The Dogwood” at Blackberry Farm, Whitney Otawka of “The Greyfield Inn” on Cumberland Island and Chef Jessica Gamble of “KR Steakbar” in Atlanta will create a powerhouse of flavors in this unique event. Paul Chevalier (former winemaker of Champagne Veuve Clicquot and Cloudy Bay) will lead you through the rosé Lifestyle of Saint-Tropez with Château D'Esclans as he presents his distinctive rosés, including the global favorite, Whispering Angel.  It all kicks off with a cocktail hour in the barn, and then moves into the barn pavilion for an evening of live entertainment, a perfectly paired dinner from talented chefs, wine education and fun camaraderie.  $165 per person. April 20, 2019  Sweet Treats of the Carolinas Festival
Marion, North Carolina
The sweetest festival in Western North Carolina is in downtown Marion, covering several blocks of the iconic small town Main Street. In addition to a hundred varieties of donuts, cupcakes, cookies and other pastries, find 150 vendors with crafts, local goods, games and savory food. Burn off some calories with a 5K. Hours are 10 AM-3 PM, and admission is free.

The annual Spring Garden Fair is a great way to get your garden growing with helpful tips and instruction! Attendees can expect vendors, demonstrations, classes, educational materials, door prizes, and much more. Classes will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. You can also purchase seeds, plants, flowers, seedlings, yard art, etc., so come one, come all, and let’s grow together! Admission is free.
