GRANOLA


  1      Gallon Rolled Oats (Not Quick Oats)
  4      Cups Pecans -- chopped
  1      Cup  Wheat germ
  1      Cup  Canola Oil

  1      Cup  Honey
  1      Cup  Maple Syrup

  2 to 4   Cups Dried fruit (raisins, apricots, dates, apples etc)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix Oil with Oats and Pecans thoroughly.

Add Honey and Maple Syrup and mix thouroughtly.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees until toasted deep golden brown and crispy,
checking frequently.

Cool mixture before adding dried fruit.

Chop larger pieces of dried fruit into smaller pieces.

Store tightly covered in a cool, dry place. It will keep for up to 6 months.
Does not need to be refrigerated.

Serving Ideas: Serve with milk or soy milk and fruit.
