June 28-July 1, 2013  Weinfest Zell Mosel - Zell, Mosel, Germany
Always the last weekend in June, the festival offers an amusement park on the banks of the river Moselle with music, a parade, fireworks, and the great wine fountain.

July 4-9, 2013  Freiburg Wine Festival
Freiburg , Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
The festival will present the region's wines. The local gastronomy ensures that you get to know the Baden cuisine.

AUGUST
August 2-4, 2013  Berlin International Beer Festival
Berlin, Germany
The festival's one-mile-long beer garden has stalls offering 2,000 kinds of beer from 300 breweries. Over one million people visit the event each year.

August 9-18, 2013  Apple Wine Festival - Frankfurt, Germany
Celebrates apple wine, which has been popular in Frankfurt for hundreds of years. Many kinds of apple wine are available for tasting. Enjoy the entertainment stage and shopping at vendor stalls.

August 16-19, 2013  Rudesheim Wine Festival 2013
Rudesheim am Rhein, Germany
Enjoy the noble Rieslings and fruity Pinot Noir, the aroma of fine foods, and the beautiful views of the vineyards overlooking the Rhine.

August 23-25, 2013  Blues and Apple Festival
Laubach, Hesse, Germany
Held in the Castle Park, each year the festival draws 20,000 visitors to enjoy blues music and apple related activities.

August 28-Sept 6, 2013  Rheingau Wine Festival
Frankfurt, Germany
Over 600 wines from the Rheingau region will be tasted at thirty vintner stands and refreshments will be available at food stalls. Held annually since 1978.

Stuttgart, Germany
One of the largest and most beautiful wine festivals in Germany with more than 1,000,000 visitors annually. The Stuttgart city center is transformed into a festive wine village with around 120 decorated wine alcoves and 250 different Wuerttemberg wines.

August 29-Sept 1 & Sept 5-8, 2013  Annual Wine Market
Mainz, Germany
Set in Mainz's Rosengarten and Volkspark, the event is a great chance to meet hundreds of vintners and thousands of other wine lovers. Enjoy wine, live music, crafts, and fireworks.

August 29-Sept 2, 2013  Middle Mosel Wine Festival
Bernkastel-Kues, Germany
The Mosel region's largest wine festival, including the winemakers' procession, fireworks, artisan market, wine tasting, and many events on wine road. Over 30 wine booths offer famous Riesling wines and more.

September 6-8, 2013  Bodensee Weinfest
Meersburg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
Held since 1974, the festival includes a music program and local culinary delights reaching from cheese platters to Lake Constance fish served with regional wines.

September 21-Oct 6, 2013  180th Munich Oktoberfest
Munich, Germany
The first Oktoberfest was held in the year 1810 in honor of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig’s marriage to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. The festivities began on October 12, 1810 and ended on October 17th with a horse race. In the following years, the celebrations were repeated and, later, the festival was prolonged and moved forward into September.

Every year before Christmas the streets round the Cathedral and the Aachen Town Hall are transformed into a paradise of lights and colors, festive sounds and seductive smells. Originally the "Printen Market", visitors will find a large variety of Printen and other Christmas cakes and biscuits, which are distributed all over the world by Aachen bakeries, as well as beautiful works of arts and crafts. November 25-Dec 24, 2013  Christkindlesmarkt 2013
Augsburg, Germany
Five hundred years ago the "Lebzelter" (gingerbread bakers) held a market in Augsburg shorthly before Christmas. Today's Christmas Market is set to the magnificent background of Augsburg's City Hall, with the city ornately decorated for Christmas. Over 150 booths offer holiday foods, old fashioned toys, and many other gift items. Attendance: 1 million.

November 25-Dec 24, 2013  Munich Christmas Market
Munich, Germany
The Munich Christmas Market originated in 1642, selling gifts of Lebkuchen (gingerbread), bees wax candles, Bavarian wood carvings and glassware, and chimney sweeps made of almonds and plums. Today, several Christmas Markets throughout Munich offer many of these traditional gifts and thousands more. A concert of holiday music is presented each day from the balcony of Munich's town hall.

December 7, 2013  Dresden Stollen Festival 2013
Dresden, Germany
The festival is part of Dresden's Christmas Market, held since 1434. The Stollen Festival celebrates the famous Christmas bread, which is filled with fruit and nuts. Hundreds of pastry chefs parade the world's largest stollen, weighing four tons, through the streets of Old Town.
