The highlight of this event is the conch-cracking contest.

October 23, 2009  Bahamas National Trust Annual Wine & Art Festival
Nassau, Bahamas
Over 50 Bahamian Artists will display their work in the beautiful Retreat Gardens on Village Road.  This annual event features the fall wine selection by Bristol Wines and Spirits.

November 6-7, 2009  1st Annual Mutton Festival
Clarence Town, South Long Island, Bahamas
The 1st Annual Mutton Festival seeks to promote sheep and goat farming on the island, as well as provide persons attending the festival the opportunity to sample various mutton dishes.
