82nd Annual Hampton County Watermelon Festival
Hampton, South Carolina
South Carolina's oldest continuing festival. Highlights: Lake Warren State Park Family Fun Day, Youth Parade, Pet Show, Mud Run, Watermelon Eating Contest, Watermelon Judging Contest, a Melon Miss pageant for all ages, arts and crafts displays, a taste of good Hampton County Food, plus variety of musical entertainment, and of course....one of the largest parades in the state!!

July 4, 2023  Annual Lexington County Peach Festival
Gilbert, South Carolina
Celebrate at the annual festival with arts and crafts, children’s rides, and great peach-themed and other foods, a parade, three stages of entertainment, antique tractor and farm equipment display, car show, and fireworks.
 


 

July 6-8, 2023  South Carolina Festival of Discovery
Greenwood, South Carolina
BBQ, BLUES & FUN! The annual KCBS sanctioned event will feature competitions in professional and backyard divisions.  Doesn’t matter whether you like mustard, ketchup, or vinegar based BBQ, you will find it here.  As well as just about any kind meat BBQ’ed as well...  Pork, Beef, Chicken, and Hash.  The Taster’s Choice is one of the premier events for the Public to be able to sample many different competitors best BBQ and vote for who you this is best.  Come out and try some, If you go away hungry, you have no one to blame but your self.  The Festival of Discovery will host outdoor concerts, an arts & crafts exhibition, and a hot dog eating contest.  Attendance: 37,000.

July 14-15, 2023  Pageland Watermelon Festival

Watch a watermelon-themed parade, savor a delicious selection of foods, enjoy the wonderful assortment of traditional music, including beach, country, and gospel. And don’t forget the old fashion seed spittin’ and watermelon eatin’ contests for all ages.

Trenton, South Carolina

August 3, 2017  Low Country Boil on Main - Simpsonville, South Carolina
Come out for lowcountry boil and other assorted side items. Each adult ticket includes the meal, two adult beverages and unlimited tea, water, and lemonade. A portion of ticket proceeds will go to the Golden Strip Relay for Life.  The event will feature live music with The Carolina Beggars joining us on the stage!  Adults tickets will be discounted to $37.50 when purchased early! Tickets for children 6-12 are available for $15, regardless of purchase date. Tickets for children under 6 are $7.50, regardless of purchase date.

June 21, 2015  5th Annual Blueberry Jam - McClellanville, South Carolina
12 to 7 pm   Pick your own blueberries! (Dads with kids get a free cup of blueberries as a Father’s Day treat!)  Local growers, artisans and bee keepers will be on hand to share their creations and harvest with you.  Compete in the Blueberry Toss for the worlds record!  Blues Music By:  Atlantic Harmonic Sensation, Dr. Dixon “Blues Physician”, The Operators and many others.  A portion of the Festival proceeds will benefit sea turtle conservation at Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
