The Beacon Sloop Club holds or participates in several festivals and events each year to raise funds for the clubs activities and bring awareness to many environmental and social issues.

October 22, 2024  Bourbon Festival at Belmont - Elmont, New York
A bourbon tasting event and Kentucky Derby celebration, at Belmont Park Racetrack in Elmont, NY from 3:30pm-7:30pm.  This special event will feature more than thirty bourbons for tasting, a selection of craft beer, a live simulcast transmission of the Kentucky Derby, grandstand viewing of the track to enjoy live event day thoroughbred racing, and convenient betting windows.  Tickets for the festival are on sale now at the event website

October 1, 2023  Annual Atlantic Antic Street Festival
Brooklyn, New York
The Atlantic Antic will bring one million people to Atlantic Avenue to celebrate the longstanding tradition of food, festivities, and fun! The event is a Brooklyn institution, embracing the myriad of heritages that coexist in the Borough. Spanning four Brooklyn neighborhoods from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue, the Antic is the largest street festival in New York City!

October 1, 2023  Warwick Applefest - Warwick, New York
Experience the extraordinary variety of Warwick's apples, culture, and entertainment--over 200 craft vendors, six stages of music & entertainment, farmers' market, apple pie baking contest. Proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations.  Attendance: 30,000.

October 7, 2023  Little Falls Cheese Festival - Little Falls, New York
'From 10 am to 5 pm. Festival goers will have an unusual opportunity to sample and buy artisanal cheeses from numerous local and regional producers—including several nationally award-winning cheesemakers. Admission and parking are FREE.  Entertainment will include live music and a short play presented by Little Falls Theater Company titled “Where’s the Cheese?” Handouts about Little Falls’ cheese history will be available and will include a self-guided walking tour.

October 8, 2023  Annual Troy Chowderfest - Troy, New York
Explore the walkable district sampling chowder, soup, and other delicious treats from a diverse group of restaurants and purveyors at the return of ChowderFest starting at 12 p.m. The event is free to attend and will feature $2 four-ounce samples for purchase at all participating locations.  There is no up-front cost or presale ticket required to enjoy ChowderFest, as all samples will be purchased a la carte, which means less waiting in line and more eating soup!  Attendance: 15,000.

The Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival pays homage to one of the greatest dining cities in the world. It is the only festival in New York to bring together both legendary culinary icons from around the globe and America's most beloved television chefs.  The New York City Festival benefits the hunger-relief programs of Food Bank For New York City and No Kid Hungry. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the Festival go directly to these community-based organizations.

A 3Day Virtual Event: September 26, October 2 & 3, 2021.  The 1st Annual FoodxFilm Festival, created by Guild of Future Architects, in association with The Rockefeller Foundation and in support of the UN Food Systems Summit, Good Food For All and the World Food Forum, exists to shine a light on global stories related to food systems and the future of food. Showcasing a globally curated program of films, panels and events.  The 2021 FoodxFilm Festival aims to shine a spotlight on the food system narrative, utilizing film as a vehicle for story and poses the question: what does a food future reimagined mean for you?
