Annual Deck the Halls Weekend
Seneca Lake region, New York
The 33 wineries along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail invite you to experience a destination rich in history, beauty, and the production of world-class wines. Enjoy a holiday wine and food pairing at each participating winery. (Also Nov 22-24, 2024).

December 7-8 & 14-15, 2024  Holiday Fineries at the Wineries
New Paltz, New York
The Shawangunk Wine Trail’s Holiday Event. All 15 member wineries will be decorated and awaiting your visit. Receive a souvenir wine tasting glass and a handmade grapevine wreath at your starting winery; then travel along the Wine Trail for wine tasting and an ornament to add to your wreath at each winery you visit.  Weekends: Nov 23-24, Dec 7-8 & 14-15, 2024.

December 31, 2024  Times Square New Year's Eve - New York, New York
Every year as the clock nears midnight on December 31, the eyes of the world turn once more to the dazzling lights and bustling energy of Times Square. Anticipation runs high. New Year's Eve at the symbolic center of New York City has become more than just a celebration — it's a global tradition.  The world holds its breath, and cheers as the clocks strike twelve.  As the famous New Year's Eve Ball descends atop One Times Square, countless people watch Times Square, nationwide, and throughout the world and are united in bidding collective farewell to the departing year and expressing joy and hope for the year ahead.

December 1-2 & 9, 2023 - Ice and Lights Festival - Ithaca, New York
Two weekends of ice, lights, family fun and holiday celebrations!  Come shop, dine, and engage with festive holiday lights and ice sculptures and take part in the many festivities!

December 2, 2023  Annual Chowder Cook-Off - Ithaca, New York
Downtown Ithaca.  Enjoy a variety of rich and creamy traditional and contemporary chowders at booths located outside on and around the Commons and then vote for their favorites. All of the chowders are freshly prepared by some of the best chefs in the region. Beer, wine, and cider tastings, and locally produced honey and skincare vendors will be part of Saturday’s event, too!.

December 10, 2023  The Chocolate Expo: Hudson Valley Holiday Edition
Newburgh, New York
Celebrate your passion… and celebrate life! Chocolate is one of life’s true pleasures. No matter what your age, background or interests, almost everyone loves chocolate.  The Chocolate Expo has by far become the northeast’s largest chocolate-themed event. The Chocolate Expo offers tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, gelato, cheeses and much more from local and regional vendors. Depending on location, tastings and sales of wines, beers and other “adult beverages” may also be offered.  Each Chocolate Expo event combines chocolate and food with a dash of fun such as unique exhibits, performances, demonstrations and/or celebrity appearances.

Romulus, New York - EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.

December 4-12, 2020  Bite of Ithaca - Ithaca, New York
Bite of Ithaca is returning to Downtown Ithaca safely & socially distant.  - going on part of Winter Lights & Bites, Enjoy $5 Bites and Sips in restaurants and bars.  This year to help with capacity and safely partaking in this delicious program, Bites & Sips will be available for takeout, pickup, and delivery with most restaurants.  Make a dinner party at home with your family.  Order a flight for each family member!  Bite purchase minimums may apply.

December 5-6, 2020  The I Love Chocolate Fest
Old Bethpage Village, New York

December 31, 2018  New Year's Eve at Westlight - Brooklyn, New York
Join us to ring in the New Year at Westlight, overlooking the Manhattan skyline, and the celebratory fireworks. The evening will include specialty cocktails, passed canapes, and dancing.
