Celebrate the wonderful opportunity to get back together again with friends and fellow Gourdheads. Gourd workshops will be scheduled all weekend starting on Friday. Artists are invited to enter gourds, either crafted or raw. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival is open to the public. Trained judges select the best gourds in each class. Ribbons are awarded for first, second, and third place. Special awards and certificates are also given.

EVENT DISCONTINUED. To our faithful and loyal followers, we regret to inform you that Smokin' on the Summit is being cancelled. After a fantastic new venue, last year was the most successful competition yet. Unfortunately "life" has interfered. This is a volunteer event and between jobs, families and daily obligations there is just not enough time in the day to continue with this effort.
