Michigan's Great Beer State Conference & Trade Show
Kalamazoo, Michigan
The Annual Winter Conference takes place each year in January and offers brewery personnel a high quality educational experience that is both local and affordable. This event is a collaborative effort between the Michigan Brewers Guild and the Master Brewers Association of the Americas-District Michigan.  The conference includes presentations by experienced professionals from within Michigan as well as from across the national craft beer community. Presentations cover relevant topics focused on the technical aspects of beer production as well as beer sales and marketing.

February 8-9, 2024  Great Lakes Regional Dairy Conference (GLRDC)
Mt. Pleasant, Michigan
Dedicated to helping dairy producers learn new ways of increasing their profitability by doing more with less. Thanks to support from generous industry supporters, the GLRDC has earned a reputation as a top educational conference. Leading experts will make presentations on topics ranging from nutrition and genetics to the future of the dairy industry, dairy sustainability and economics. In addition to our quality line-up of educational speakers, we will once again be the home base for the eighth annual Dairy Industry Recognition Night where we will honor the industry’s leading producers, recognize dairy scholarship recipients and dairy judging team members, as well as announce the winners of the Michigan Dairy Ambassador Program.

The week of George Washington's birthday as National FFA Week in recognition of his legacy as an agriculturist and farmer.

February 24, 2024  17th Annual Winter Beer Festival
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Comstock Park.  As many as 1,000 craft beers from more 140 Michigan micro-breweries and brewpubs will be available for sampling. Guests will also enjoy fine music from local bands, other entertainment, ice sculpture demonstrations, and fire pits to warm up by. A selection of tasty food will be available for purchase at the festival.

February 2-6, 2022 - Annual Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference
Acme, Michigan
Trade show with over 80 vendors.  Local foods lunch.  Over 750 conference attendees.  Over 25 educational sessions.  Youth track, with hands-on farm sessions.  Child care.  Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan, just north of Traverse City.

January 11-30, 2021 - 5th Annual Ice Jam Winter Festival
Comstock Park, Michigan
ICE JAMMIN AT HOME FOR 2021 - SEE WEBSITE FOR DETAILS.  Michiganders are invited to bundle up and join Perrin Brewing and Kids’ Food Basket at the Perrin Ice Jam Winter Festival. The fest will take place at the Perrin Pub and feature the Frostbite 5K Run, live music, food trucks, specialty beers and more.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to Kids’ Food Basket.

January 25, 2020 - Michigan Ice Wine Harvest Festival
Traverse City, Michigan
At Chateau Chantal.  In celebration of this remarkable wine, festival events will range from family friendly snowman building and ice sculptures to outdoor fire pits with roasted treats. The winery's walking trail will be open for snowshoeing or skiing. Bring your own snow gear to experience winter in the vineyard. The festival will culminate with a multi-course Ice Wine education dinner on Saturday, including a tour of the cellar and winemaking process. Samples of multiple Ice Wines and pairing will be on hand all weekend along with a specialty dessert item.  Entrance to the celebration is free, with a fee to sample and attend the wine dinner or educational sessions. Ice Wine is a must-try experience that represents one of the most unique abilities of our Northern wine growing climate, something our famed California wineries to the West cannot produce! The winery has held back selections from previous Ice Wine vintages to showcase the wines.
