30th Cambridge Carnival

The Cambridge Carnival is an outdoor festival celebrating the African diaspora with food, music, costumes, festivities and fun! The festival provides a fun and festive atmosphere rooted in Caribbean and African traditions. The carnival will showcase cultural performances, arts & crafts vendors, a variety of food selections, steel pan performances, and an inspired production of cultural dance and music via a costume parade.

September 13-29, 2024  The Big E - West Springfield, Massachusetts
The Big E, the largest fair in the Northeast, is a New England extravaganza with top name entertainment, Farm-A-Rama agricultural learning center, Super Circus, animals, competitive exhibits, rides, parades, and foods from around the world.

September 15, 2024  Boston Local Food Festival
Boston, Massachusetts
The Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) is thrilled to announce that the Boston Local Food Festival will be held at the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway. Bring your family and friends to eat, shop and discover local food from across New England.  The FREE event will take place from 11AM-5PM.  We’ll continue celebrating and supporting New England local food producers and businesses through this event with health and safety precautions in place.  The Local Food Hall will feature: • Freshly harvested produce and seafood from farmers and fishermen.  • Scrumptious, affordable servings, featuring locally grown foods for take-away.  • Zero waste promoting composting, recycling, and sustainable practices.  Attendance: 30,000.
 


 

September 21, 2024  12th Annual Cape Cod Brew Fest
Cape Cod Fairgrounds, Massachusetts
Cape Cod Fairgrounds. Join us for this celebration of American craft brewers and sample from 100+ breweries and over 300 styles of beer. The event will have one session from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. The festival will feature live music and food trucks & vendors will be on-site for purchase. Every attendee will receive a custom glass. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Barnstable County Agricultural Society.  The Cape Cod Brew Fest is a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies. No pets allowed.

September 21, 2024  19th Annual “What the Fluff” Festival
Somerville, Massachusetts
Join us for the celebration of  marshmallow 'Fluff', invented right here in Somerville’s Union Square in 1917 by Archibald Query.  This madcap, fun-filled festival draws approximately 15,000 people.  The Festival will feature musical performances, a cooking contest, Fluff-themed games, activities, antics and fun for every age, and Fluff treats of every sort.  Attendance: 15,000.

September 21, 2024  Seafood Throwdown Competition
Boston, Massachusetts
The Seafood Throwdown competition will feature two local chefs creating a seafood dish, and accompanied by seasonal vegetables grown by farmers market vendors.

September 21-22, 2024 - Salem Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
Salem, Massachusetts
Featuring some of the area's most popular food trucks dishing out fan favorites such as fall-off-the-bone BBQ, wood-fired pizzas, zesty tacos, sweet treats, and more!  Offering dozens of regional and national craft brews.  FTFA will be bringing the ultimate food truck and craft beer experience to Salem!

September 22, 2024  43rd Annual Country Harvest Fair
Holliston, Massachusetts
Holliston Historical Society Harvest Fair and Open House.  Along with the fine items offered by our crafters and collectors, the Society offers food, Society-baked apple pies, a silent auction and children’s activities. Many buyers return to find their favorite crafters’ booths every year and enjoy the day at our fair. We also offer exhibits during the Open House hours in the Society’s Asa Whiting House.

September 28, 2024  43rd Annual Lenox Apple Squeeze
Lenox, Massachusetts
Enjoy foods, wines, beers and delicacies from around the world as local farmers display the bounties of this year's harvest.  Apples and all imaginable apple recipes abound as you stroll through the Historic Village of  Lenox where hay rides, children activities, and live entertainment fill the town with performances of Music, Dance, and Theatre.

September 28, 2024  29th Annual Chili-Chowdah Festival
East Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Area restaurants and individuals can enter their chili and/or chowder to be voted on by the crowd. Live music throughout the day, fully stocked bars and draft beer, food booths and vendors, and a “Show & Shine” motorcycle competition. $10 admission and free parking. 21+, no pets. Cash only (ATM on site).

September 28-29, 2024  26th Annual North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival - Orange, Massachusetts
The schedule includes two stages of entertainment, workshops, agricultural and artistic booths, as well as a chefs tent featuring delectable demos. Festival proceeds keep the event sustainable and affordable, and support the community's regional arts, agriculture, health and energy projects.

Reggie Lewis Athletic Center.  Our Festival brings together an amazing array of vegetarian natural food providers, top national speakers and chefs, and educational exhibitors in a fun and welcoming environment. It is a chance to talk directly to food producers, learn the newest items in the marketplace, taste free food samples, shop at show special discounts, or simply learn what vegetarian foods are available and where you can find them!

September 12, 2022 - A Taste of Ginger - Boston, Massachusetts
Each year, the event draws hundreds of supporters who gather to enjoy an extraordinary cultural and culinary experience which includes the opportunity to taste a variety of cuisines and meet some of Boston’s most celebrated chefs.  The A Taste of Ginger event promotes awareness and raises funds for Joslin’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI).

Lowell, Massachusetts
EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2018. Due to circumstances beyond our control, The Lowell Food & Wine Festival events have been cancelled this year.  Food Truck Madness, located at Kerouac Park, on Friday, September 8th from 6pm to 10pm will still occur.

Located at Kerouac Park, from 6pm to 10pm. Purchase your tickets in advance for $6.50 or at the door for $10. Parking is provided by the City of Lowell for $5 at John Street Parking Garage.

September 15-21, 2018 - Love the Ave & North End: Restaurant Week
New Bedford, Massachusetts
It’s a week to showcase the culinary flavor of New Bedford’s North End,  home to some of the city’s most beloved bakeries, eateries, and restaurants. From fine dining to casual noshing, Acushnet Avenue and the North End boast an impressive array of savory cultures: American, Chinese, French, Guatemalan, Peruvian, Portuguese, Mexican and Spanish dishes are all on the menu here.  During Restaurant Week, participating eateries can feature price fixe menus, promote special discounts, highlight signature dishes and offer entertainment. It’s their choice – and their moment to showcase their kitchens.

September 22, 2018 - Hoppy Fall Festival - Sandwich, Massachusetts
Celebrate fall and the resurgence of small craft brewers. The event features beer tasting from local breweries. Staff from each brewery are on hand to answer questions about their beers and brewing processes, plus you can indulge in fare from local food trucks while you enjoy your drinks in an autumn biergarten at the largest public garden in southern New England!  Tasting Tickets: $35 Members; $40 Non-Members. Price includes museum admission as well as: • Beer tastings from 12 Massachusetts breweries • Reusable souvenir tasting cup • Admission to all gardens and exhibits • Backyard games and activities • A home brewing demonstration by Indie Ferm Brewing • Learn the differences between beer styles in a "Beer Styles Decoded" talk lead by Cisco Brewers.  Note: This is a 21+ event. A valid ID is required at check in to receive your admission wristband for the event.

September 15, 2017 - WHALE’s 27th Annual Wine Festival & Auction
New Bedford, Massachusetts
The festival will offer world-class wine, beer and food with specialties from the region’s finest restaurants and caterers. We host around twenty vendors and offer over 100 wines to try, including a beer selection. This year, tastings are presented by Lees Wine & Spirits. The silent auction with over 75 items will accept bids for antiques, collectibles, artwork and unique gifts.

The 2nd Annual Quincy Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival will feature over 25 local trucks paired with over 25 local craft breweries. There will be great food ranging from grilled cheese to cupcakes along with an Open Air Market.
