August is Maine Lobster Month - Statewide, Maine
As a result of Maine's successful lobster conservation effort, the state has hit record harvest levels for the last three years. So in July 2012 Maine Governor Paul LePage signed a proclamation declaring August "Maine Lobster Month". August 2-6, 2023 - Maine Lobster Festival - Rockland, Maine
