43rd Milford Aquaculture Seminar / 25th Northeast Aquaculture Conference & Expo - Shelton, Connecticut
Since 1975, the Milford Laboratory has convened the Milford Aquaculture Seminar (MAS) as a forum for technology transfer among the Lab, aquaculture community, scientific and academic communities, regulators and the public. MAS is held every January.  In 2015 the decision was made to hold the MAS jointly with the Northeast Aquaculture Conference and Expo (NACE).

January 25-28, 2024  Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest
Uncasville, Connecticut
Held at Mohegan Sun.  Featuring beer, wine, specialty spirits and delectable dishes, this weekend has something for everyone. Wine and beer enthusiasts can select from over 1,000 brands or enjoy tastings of specialty sponsor spirits. Foodies can sample signature dishes from the region's most highly rated restaurants. The Main Culinary Stage is the backdrop for two days of celebrity chef demonstrations along with fun-filled contests.  Attendance: 10,000.

West Hartford, Connecticut
Participating restaurants throughout West Hartford will offer special fixed price multi course menus at $12 for lunch and $20, $30 or $40 for dinner.  Dine for Good: A portion of all menu sales will be donated to Foodshare, the regional food bank serving Hartford and Tolland counties.
