Watermelon Olympics, melon judging & auction, watermelon eating contest, seed spitting contest, melon toss, antique engine show, entertainment and Southwest Arkansas' largest arts and crafts show.  Attendance: 50,000.

August 10-15, 2026  Annual Johnson County Fair - Clarksville, Arkansas
Animal & Agricultural Products Competitions, Pie Baking Contest, Food, Games, Carnival, Pageants, Johnson County Idol, Live Entertainment, Home Crafts and Displays.

August 19-September 7, 2026  Van Buren County Arkansas Fair
Clinton, Arkansas
Creative arts and livestock exhibits, carnival, music shows, "Farmer for a Day" for kids 10 and under, salute to Veterans, dog show and commercial exhibits.

August 29-Sept 6, 2026  National Championship Chuckwagon Race
Clinton, Arkansas
Chuckwagon Races, Snowy River Race, bronc fanning, music, concerts, camping, trail riding, western trade show, horse and mule clinics, seminars, barn dances.  Attendance: 20,000+
