Sir James Dewar

(September 20, 1842 - March 27, 1923)

Sir James Dewar was a Scottish chemist and physicist, inventor of the Dewar flask in 1892, the original thermos bottle. Improved upon by German Glassblower Reinhold Burger in the early 1900s and given the name 'thermos.'
