~ I can honestly say....out of the 40+ Junior League cookbooks I own, this is by far the absolute best! It is a true representation of Texas in every way, from the photos, to the heart-warming stories and the great recipes. If you are a cook, you will love all of what this book has to offer! There are recipes to suit any level of cook, any type of food (elegant, healthy, simple and quick, comfort, etc....) and for any occasion. There are several recipes that were even given to the JLNHSMC by local celebrity chefs and famous restaurants in the area.
