86th West Tennessee Strawberry Festival - Humboldt, Tennessee
Recipe contest, Barbeque Cookoff, Horse Show, Music, Tractor Show, Parade, Entertainment, much more.  Along with instruction for growing and marketing the strawberry, those who attend are entertained, and contests and events are planned simply for enjoyment and fellowship. The Pageants, the music, the golf tournament, the horse show, the fireworks, the recipe contest, the carnival, the parades with floats and bands, the 5K & 10K runs, the festival cuisine and more are all a part of the attraction.  Attendance: 75,000.

May 7-11, 2024  77th Annual Tennessee Strawberry Festival
Dayton, Tennessee
The Tennessee Strawberry Festival is the celebration of small town life. It offers a chance for our community to showcase its beauty, history and commitment to family values.

May 10-11, 2024  83rd Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival
Portland, Tennessee
The annual event includes a parade, carnival, golf scramble, concerts, pageant and more.

May 11, 2024  6th Annual Bacon Festival - McDonale, Tennessee
10 AM-8 PM - Come join us as we celebrate Bacon! A community event for the whole family! Featuring our area's most delicious food focusing on bacon-related dishes, local crafting vendors, and entertainment.  We will have the best food vendors in the south creating unique bacon dishes as well as vendors live music, activities, contests, and an awesome kid’s zone with inflatables face painters, trampoline jump, petting zoo, and pony rides.  Admission is $5 and free for kids 3 and under.

May 14-16, 2024  TGCSA Annual Convention & Expo
Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association is the only food trade association that represents all segments of Tennessee’s food market.

May 15-18, 2024  World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest
Memphis, Tennessee
The Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, the Granddaddy of Grilling...where on this given Saturday, it's anybody's game. Hundreds of teams compete for over $150,000 in prizes and supreme bragging rights. While grilling is the main theme, the contest wouldn't be complete without the Ms. Piggie Idol competition where grown men dress in tutus and snouts and women kick their heels (hooves) up. There is also a t-shirt competition and even a best booth contest.  Attendance: 75,000.

Brighton, Tennessee
This annual Lawn & Garden EXPO is hosted by the Tipton County Master Gardeners. Dynamic speakers have been engaged to give the public the latest gardening information from local experts and Master Gardeners.

May 6-20, 2023  International Food Festival - Nashville, Tennessee
Saturdays.  Discover the world on your plate at the International Food Festival! Starting this May, join us every Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm for a spectacular weekly International Food Festival that celebrates global flavors, cultures, and entertainment.

May 12-13, 2023  Piney Woods Wine Trail Festival - Lindale, Texas
The event features wine tastings by the 19 wineries that make up the Piney Woods Wine Trail, many of them national award winners. Come uncork the fun with us for musical entertainment, arts and crafts geared for the wine enthusiast, great food, and of course wine!

May 27-, 2023  Cajunfest - Hampshire, Tennessee
Held at Amber Falls Winery.  Cajun Seafood will be serving up some fabulous Cajun food (crawfish boil, shrimp, fried gator, jambalaya, and more). Live Music.

We're taking a Biscuit Break.  After 8 years of beautiful Biscuits, we've decided to take some time off to rest. We appreciate all the hard work of our volunteers and the support of our Partners.  Hope to see you back here next year!  Attendance: 20,000.

May 5-31, 2017 - Biscuit Art Exhibition - Knoxville, Tennessee
The International Biscuit Festival 2017 has begun accepting submissions for the Festival's Biscuit Art Exhibition. The exhibition will open May 5, 2017 in downtown Knoxville and will last through May 31, 2017.  The Biscuit Art Exhibition will feature artwork with a Biscuit theme.  Submissions are open to all artists 18 or older and works may be created in all 2D and 3D media.

May 11, 2017 - Celebrity Chef Tour - Nashville, Tennessee
Benefiting the James Beard Foundation, featuring Award-Winning Chefs

May 11, 2017  Gatlinburg Beans 'n Cornbread Blast!
Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Gatlinburg celebrates its Appalachian culinary past with the Gatlinburg Beans 'n Cornbread Blast! presented by Bush Brothers Beans.  Downtown Gatlinburg will be transformed into a festive, fun-filled scene with games, foot-stompin' mountain bluegrass music and, of course, lots of Beans and Cornbread. Vendors will compete against each other with their special recipes and you get to help decide the winner! Compete to win in our first annual Corn Hole Tournament and at the same time help support our local Humane Society.  Bush Brothers Beans will be featured throughout the event. A small fee will allow participants to sample all the different recipes while supplies last. It will be a 'Rootin, Tootin, Good Time!'

May 18-19, 2017  The Southern Food Writing Conference
Knoxville, Tennessee
The Southern Food Writing Conference celebrates the art and the craft of writing about food in the South.   Join our outstanding panel of speakers as we explore various facets of food in the South, from traditions of cookbooks and family recipes, to the connections of race, gender, income and the environment to the food traditions of the South.  You will interact with some of the legends of Southern food writing, and meet the next generation of the profession. Professionals from the worlds of newspapers, magazines, books and blogs will bring their perspectives on the current state of Southern food and those who write about it.   The conference is designed for both the writers and the readers of Southern food writing.  Food enthusiasts, professional journalists, food bloggers, as well as devotees of all things Southern will enjoy the two day program we have prepared for you.  The Conference Registration Fee of $525 includes all seminar sessions, and all meals, including dinner at Blackberry Farm.
