Pocono Garlic Festival
Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania
EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Two days of extraordinary garlic laced food, arts and live entertainment. All entertainment is included with price of admission, no parking fee either!  Proud to be know as one of the stinkest festivals in the Pocono's. Attendees will enjoy three stages of continous entertainment, local grown produce and over sixty food and craft vendors selling everything garlic. There is fun for all ages with family theme entertainment, live music including Christine Porter from the Voice and our fun Garlic Eating Contest as welll as a GARLIC CHOPPED Cooking Competiton. Under the education tent there will be live animal shows and garlic growing seminars.

September 4, 2021 - 18th Annual Taste of Hamburg-er Festival
Hamburg, Pennsylvania
10am-6pm - Free Admission - Rain or Shine.  A family-fun day celebrating America’s favorite food – the hamburger.  Over 30 burger stands will grill and serve creative and unique combinations of burgers, all competing for the best burger award.  Four stages of non-stop entertainment, two beer gardens serving beer, wine and cocktails, over 70 arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities and shopping in our historic downtown!  Beer gardens remain open until 7pm. Don’t miss the amateur and professional burger eating competitions!  Bring your buns to Hamburg, you’ll relish the experience!   Attendance: 15,000.

The Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, Inc. takes place on the second weekend of September each year on the main street in Indiana, PA. From culture to history to entertainment, our goal is to create a new appreciation for our region for those in attendance.

September 10-11, 2021  Chile Pepper Festival - Bowers, Pennsylvania
Food festival, crafts, music all day both days, free parking in park, pepper eating contest, salsa contest and wagon rides to Meadow View Farm.  No alcohol, no pets.

Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
'The Mushroom Capital of the World'  Celebrate the mushroom as well as the beauty, history and excitement of Southern Chester County with farm tours, culinary demonstrations, children's rides and a variety of entertainment.

September 11-12, 2021  16th Annual Gettysburg Wine and Music Festival - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Celebrate the grape harvest and enjoy a fall weekend in historic Gettysburg while you savor the flavors of hundreds of Pennsylvania wines and enjoy live music.  Sample and purchase wine from 25 Pennsylvania wineries, enjoy offerings from more than 50 food and craft vendors and dance to the region’s best live music. The event annually draws nearly 7,000 attendees.   Hosted by the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce and supported by area businesses and hundreds of volunteers, the festival promotes Pennsylvania wine, boosts the area economy and strengthens the local quality of life. In addition to supporting programs of the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce, the festival benefits community organizations with more than $10,000 in donations. One-day advance tickets are $20 and include a free wine glass, unlimited wine sampling and access to live music. Tickets are $25 at the gate. Two-day advance tickets are available for wine enthusiasts at $30. Youth/Designated Driver tickets are $12 and children 12 and under are free. Special pricing is available for groups of more than 15 people. Parking is free.  Attendance: 7,000.

New Holland, Pennsylvania
Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community. The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy. Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance. Livestock events: Sheep, Swine, Goat, and Rabbit Shows; Parades; Long John Eating Contest; Safe Tractor Driving Contest.

September 10, 2022  Whoopie Pie Festival - Strasburg, Pennsylvania
The Most Delicious Day in Lancaster County! The annual Whoopie Pie Festival features more than 100 different Whoopie Pie flavors and is held at the Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn, located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  Who can resist rich, creamy icing spread between two soft, delicious cakes? They’ve been a favorite Lancaster County confection for years. And now the Whoopie Pie isn’t just for eating!  Whoopie Pie Treasure Hunt, Pie Race, Pie Checkers, Eating Contest, and Largest Whoopie Pie.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
VegFest celebrates the growing vegan culture and sustainable living practices throughout Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. Our festival includes cooking demonstrations, renowned speakers, live music, as well as over 100 food, small business, and craft vendors from up and down the east coast.  Attendance: 10,000.

September 13-15, 2019  Annual Hinkelfest Chicken Festival

Get ready for the Pennsylvania Dutch Tradition everyone is waiting for... the Hinkelfest Chicken Festival! The All-American Dairy Show features nearly 2,000 of the best dairy cattle shown by more than 1,100 of the best exhibitors in the nation and Canada. With 23 dairy shows in six days, including four days dedicated to youth shows, contests and programs.

September 21-22 & 28-29, 2019  Penn's Colony Festival
Saxonburgh, Pennsylvania

September 28, 2019  Annual PotatoFest - Ebensburg, Pennsylvania
The Ebensburg PotatoFest is an annual event in Ebensburg, PA celebrating Cambria County potatoes and its growers. It is held on the last Saturday of September each year! The county is the second largest supplier of potatoes in the state. The festival is a fun-filled day of arts, crafts, entertainment, and food for the entire family. Entertainers perform throughout the day with music to please all ages. Over 200 crafters and artisans line the streets for blocks with homemade wares and food of all kinds. Join in the festivities and spend the day in our beautiful community!

The Kennett Brewfest is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit organization working to keep Kennett Square a regional economic and cultural center. The Kennett Brewfest is intended to be an opportunity to sample some of the best regional and national craft beers accompanied by great food, great music, and great people.

Orrtanna, Pennsylvania

September 16, 2018 - Taste of Berwyn - Berwyn, Pennsylvania
Daemion Counseling Center. We're conveniently located on Bridge Avenue and First Avenue at the entrance to the park.  Well known as a dining destination, Berwyn's fabulous restaurants will recreate their best dishes as food vendors in the park.  Family fun will be available to all.  Entry to Taste of Berwyn is free.  Berwyn Bucks will be sold at the event and can be used to purchase food, beverages, raffle tickets, activities, and games.

September 3-4, 2016 - Pittsburgh Folk Festival - Pennsylvania
This was the last Pittsburgh Folk Festival.
Free performances, ethnic food, crafts, and a global marketplace filled with unique handmade and imported goods. Diverse international cuisine from more than 20 countries will be available, and kid-friendly hands-on crafts and cooking demonstrations for all are planned throughout the two-day event.

September 12-13, 2016  Eating Disorders Congress
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The aim of the Congress  Eating Disorders meetings is to provide a platform for academicians and practitioners from multiple disciplines to debate and deliberate on social change that is encompassed by innovation and technology. Eating Disorders conferences aim to gather experts in the field to share their knowledge.  In addition to inspire and educate practitioners about appropriate treatment approaches for all types of Eating Disorders and to encounter them in finding creative ways to identify, diagnose, understand and treat patients with all types of Eating Disorders  with individualized focus and intention.
