Heinz History Center.  Celebrate Pittsburgh's passion for food at Hometown-Homegrown where more than 40 local food and drink vendors will be on-site to share delicious  samples of their tastiest food and drinks – plus activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the museum.

November 4-5, 2023 - Apple Festival - Lahaska, Pennsylvania
Scrumptious apple treats including country apple butter, apple cider, apple dumplings, apple fritters and everyone's favorite -- apples dipped in caramel! Take home a bushel fresh from the orchard. Juried Artisans sell their wares and demonstrate their skills at our Street Road Green Artisan Area. Live entertainment and apple pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional autumn celebration.

November 4-5, 2023  PA Bacon Fest - Easton, Pennsylvania
Located in Historic Easton, Pennsylvania, PA Bacon Fest has grown into one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most popular events. Named one of the country’s ‘5 Can’t-Miss Bacon Festivals’ (Parade.com) this two-day festival serves up delicious food, live music, family-friendly activities, cooking demos. Bacon on a stick. Chocolate-covered bacon. The 50/50 Bacon Burger. Bacon cannoli. Bacon Bloody Mary. Bacon Mac. Bacon Poutine. Bacon Sticky Buns. PA Bacon Fest has every salty, sweet, smoky bacon treat you can imagine! Festival is held rain or shine the first full weekend of November.   Attendance: 80,000.

At Northwestern High School.  Co-sponsored by Northwest PA Maple Syrup Producers Association, Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producers Council, Ohio Maple Producers Association, Western New York State Maple Producers and the Albion FFA.

November 11, 2023  Holiday Wine Festival at Spring Brook
Spring Brook, Pennsylvania
Holiday-themed, indoor wine festival. Simply select a wine or two from one of the event's wine tasting booths (all Pennsylvania wineries), some cheeses & chocolates from the specialty foods vendors, and a couple of carefully-chosen handcrafted items for each person on your list.
 


 

November 17-January 13, 2024, 2023  Gingerbread House Competition & Display - Lahaska, Pennsylvania
Gingerbread house competition  in the following categories: Traditional Holiday Gingerbread House; Authentic Reproduction of a Bucks County Landmark; Incredibly Unusual 3-Dimensional Gingerbread Creation; Lights. Camera. Icing!; Holly Jolly; Teen Gingerbread Creation (Ages 12-17); Youth Gingerbread Creation (Ages 9-11); KIDS ONLY! Gingerbread (Ages 8 & under); Professional Gingerbread.  A visual delight, the entries are displayed throughout the holiday season.

November 30-December 1, 2023  Annual Festival of Ice
Lewistown, Pennsylvania
Watch professional ice carvers turn solid blocks of ice into beautiful works of art using chisels, chainsaws and blow torches. Gaze at the beautifully carved ice sculptures, go for an old-fashioned carriage ride, listen to carolers, participate in children’s activities, and even visit with Santa Claus himself.

December 1-23, 2023  Christmas Around the Farm - Media, Pennsylvania
A family holiday tradition — featuring Cut Your Own Christmas Trees!  We transform the Garden Center into a Winter Wonderland, featuring Santa and his Elves, handmade wreaths, greens and holly, and a sea of poinsettias. Shop an enormous selection of timeless holiday decorations, children’s toys and collectibles you won't find anywhere else!

December 2, 2023  Annual Valley Forge Beer & Cider Festival
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.  More than 75 Breweries & Cideries with more than 150 beers & ciders, featuring some of the best craft brewers in the country and from around the globe.  Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

December 30-31, 2023  PeepsFest & Peeps Chick Drop
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Located at the iconic SteelStacks in Bethlemen, the event features those delicious marshmallow Peeps. Music, arts/crafts, 5k run, and more. The festival closes with a bang with the famous Just Born Peeps Chick Drop and fireworks.

December 31, 2023  New Year's Eve Bologna Drop
Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Ring in the new year in Downtown Lebanon as a huge edible bologna drops at midnight with the help of a fire department ladder truck. The 12-foot long bologna weighing nearly 150 pounds, made by Kutztown/Daniel Weaver Bologna Co. will be donated to the Rescue Mission. Live music and hot drinks.

December 31, 2023  19th New Year's Eve Hershey Kiss Drop
Hershey, Pennsylvania
Live bands, great food and drinks, more family-friendly activities, and a laser and pyrotechnics display.  In the heart of downtown Hershey. It includes kid-friendly new year’s countdowns and bubble wrap stomps at The Hershey Story throughout the day. New this year is a community hour from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in ChocolateTown Square. The hour will feature local dance and music groups. At 8:30 pm, the HERSHEY’S Characters join for the final bubble wrap stomp and a dance party.  The main stage entertainment kicks off at 9:00 pm.

Nov 29-Dec 3, 2022  Annual Gingerbread Celebration and Holiday Mart
Gettsburg, Pennsylvania
Gettysburg Festival’s Annual Gingerbread Celebration and Holiday Mart.  Enjoy a gallery of gingerbread houses created by area chefs and artisans.  At the Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College, Gettysburg.   Free admission, both days Friday and Saturday.  Enjoy a gallery of gingerbread creations, holiday art mart and activities for families. Also, participate in the gingerbread creations silent auction and People’s Choice voting.  Proceeds will benefit the non-profit Gettysburg Festival Inc.
