Local homebrewers showcase their hard work to a local audience of beer lovers. We're also inviting a select few local professional breweries to serve their beers as well. The festival will feature beer tasting, live music and great local food!

June 1-2, 2024 - Windy City Hot Dog Fest - Chicago, Illinois
Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood. Some of Chicagoland’s favorite hot dog stands will compete for who has the best frankfurter! And you get to be the judge! Plus, in addition to tasty dogs, patrons will get to listen to great local and regional acts on the event’s mainstage. Plus, don’t miss the kids’ area, arts & crafts vendors and a top dog parade on Sunday!

June 7-8, 2024  32nd Annual Rhubarb Fest - Aledo, Illinois
This unique festival will feature more than 3,000 homemade Rhubarb Pies for sale, Rhubarb Sampling, 12,000 free Rhubarb seeds given away, crafts, music, entertainment and more all set in our historic downtown.  We're so serious about our Rhubarb that Governor Pat Quinn officially named Aledo the Rhubarb Capital of Illinois.
 


 

June 7-8, 2024  36th International Horseradish Festival
Collinsville, Illinois
For over three decades, the Horseradish Festival has celebrated the multi-faceted and vastly under-utilized spicy member of the mustard family and brought people from around the midwest and the country to Collinsville for fun, entertainment, and great food and drink.  Attendance: 25,000.

June 7-9, 2024  Lincoln Square Greek Fest - Chicago, Illinois
Opa! Celebrate June at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for their annual Lincoln Square Greek Fest. Enjoy Greek food, delicious pastries, loukoumades (Greek honey puffs), Greek dance troupe, Hellenic marketplace, friendly faces and warm hospitality!

June 15, 2024  Taste of Chicago Rogers Park - Chicago, Illinois
Taste of Chicago will return this year with food and music events in several Chicago neighborhoods. 

June 17-18, 2024  Future Food-Tech - Chicago, Illinois
Future Food-Tech will bring together key figures from across the food industry, including investors, start-ups, technology companies and food and ingredients manufacturers. With a common goal to meet the global food challenge, the event will create a forum for networking, debate, discussion and learning – showcasing the technologies and championing the innovations which have the potential to transform the sector.

June 20, 2024  Sommeliers Choice Awards - Chicago, Illinois
Winners Annoouncement.  Sommeliers Choice Awards is an international wine competition, organized by Beverage Trade Network, a global Beverage Industry platform.  Sommeliers Choice Awards aim to provide on-premise buyers and sommeliers a valuable benchmark for understanding which wines would make a compelling addition to a wine list. This competition will be judged entirely by top sommeliers, on-premise wine buyers and wine directors at U.S. restaurants, bars, pubs, and clubs.

This event strives to include a line up of great food, contests, sports, and musical entertainment that appeals to everyone, while embracing the traditions of Joliet.

June 21-23, 2024  Long Grove Strawberry Festival - Long Grove, Illinois
This is the granddaddy of Long Grove's signature festivals, drawing close to 50,000 visitors to the historic business district for the 3-day event. It is considered one of the premier outdoor festivals in the Chicagoland area. The pleasures of summer are celebrated with "berry wonderful" strawberry inspired treats.  Attendance: 50,000.

At the Jordan Block Park 101 W. Main St. Ottawa, Illinois. Friday 5p-9p, Saturday 12p-9p & Sunday 12p-5p.

June 18, 2023  Real Men Cook - Chicago, Illinois
Real Men Cook promotes male involvement, education, outreach and advocacy on food resources, healthy eating, healthcare and public policies on these issues. Takes place each year on Father's Day in cities across the U.S. A national movement--get involved!

June 21, 2023  Flavors of Albany Park - Chicago, Illinois
Calling all foodies! Chicagoans “in the know” will head to Albany Park to attend Flavors of Albany Park and walk from restaurant to restaurant, sample to sample, to explore a world of flavors from 5 PM to 8 PM.  More than two dozen businesses will serve sample-size portions of a signature menu item. With two different food routes, attendees choose one corridor to explore along Kedzie, Lawrence, and/or Montrose Avenues.  Attendees will also enjoy a variety of entertainment throughout the evening, including live music.

June 24, 2023  Taste of Chicago Humboldt Park - Chicago, Illinois
Taste of Chicago will return this year with food and music events in several Chicago neighborhoods.  Taste of Chicago Humboldt Park (11am–9pm) featuring Chicago House Music Festival brings a diverse array of local food from more than 20 Chicago food vendors to the beautiful Humboldt Park Boathouse.

June 3-5, 2022  Spring Festival - Brocton, Illinois
Brocton Spring Festival and Truck/tractor Pulls.  Family event featuring draft horses, ponies, and mules; shown in halter, team, cart, unicorn, and more. There will also be a fish fry, parade, games and food.

June 17-20, 2022  33rd Annual Ribfest - Wheaton, Illinois
Now at Dupage Event Center and Fairgrounds in Wheaton.  Ribfest recruits 12 of the country's best rib vendors to cook in a nationally recognized BBQ contest. Major music acts as well as community talent. Fundraiser to fight child abuse and domestic violence.

June 24-25, 2022 - Coffee Fest Chicago - Chicago, Illinois
Coffee Fest has been serving the specialty coffee and gourmet tea industries since 1992. Viewed by most as the best trade show in America and around the world specifically for those involved with retailing coffee, tea and related products. Coffee Fest continues to evolve and stay at the forefront of emerging trends.

June 6, 2020  7th Annual Uncork Urbana Wine Festival - Urbana, Illinois
Celebrating the diverse and delicious wines that the state of Illinois has to offer, Uncork Urbana is the chance for wine-lovers in the area to come together and enjoy an afternoon/evening of wine, music, food, and arts.  Vineyards and wineries from all over Illinois will sell wine by the tasting glass, and by the bottle.

IFMA - International Foodservice Manufacturers Association.  The foodservice industry is evolving and our industry can no longer be inwardly focused. The Foodservice Fundamentals provides a primer on not only the industry, but the consumers and operators that create and drive demand. The program’s new data and fast-paced training will provide attendees increased understanding of the new foodservice landscape to aid in strategy development as well as sales/marketing plans.

June 1-3, 2018 - Lincoln Park Greek Fest - Chicago, Illinois
Lincoln Park Greek Fest will again bring the aromas, sounds, tastes and traditions of Greece to all Chicagoans in June. This popular annual cultural celebration on the grounds of St. George Greek Orthodox Church will serve up an authentic dose of “filoxenia” (Greek hospitality and generosity of spirit) along with flavorful food, great music, dancing and pure fun.

June 9-10, 2018 - Burgers, Brews & Blues Fest - Bolingbrook, Illinois
It’s a trifecta of good food, craft beers and cool tunes when the upscale Promenade Bolingbrook shopping mecca in the southwest suburb hosts it inaugural Burgers, Brews & Blues Fest to help welcome the forthcoming  official start of summer.  For starters, area restaurants will be serving up savory patties with exotic toppings along with tasty sides. Then there’s the down-home sounds of Midwest blues acts, plus  activities for kids and families.

June 14, 2017  Cravings on Clark - Chicago, Illinois
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.  The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce showcases the unique pubs, patisseries, cafes, and businesses of one of Chicago’s most beloved business districts with it’s annual Cravings on Clark restaurant crawl. Area residents and foodies from all over Chicagoland stroll along the north end of Lincoln Park’s Clark Street to discover the delicious diversity of this unique culinary corridor, exploring the eclectic independent retailers who stay open late for the event. Not up for a walk? Free pedicabs are on hand to ferry revelers from stop to stop.

June 17-18, 2017  Taste of Bolingbrook - Chicago, Illinois
Food lovers will be in culinary heaven when the upscale Promenade Bolingbrook in the southwest suburb hosts its 7th annual Taste of Bolingbrook to help welcome the start of summer. More than 25 local restaurants will showcase their signature dishes over the weekend. And for connoisseurs of vintage grapes there will be wine tastings each afternoon from Noon-4:00 p.m. featuring more than 30 varietals.

June 19-22, 2017  FMI Connect - Chicago, Illinois
CANCELLED.  After much deliberation and guidance from the Executive Committee of the Food Marketing Institute’s (FMI) Board of Directors, FMI has determined it will not host the 2017 FMI Show, known as FMI Connect, originally scheduled to be held in Chicago next June.

StarView Vineyards, Illinois
Savor a wide array of the Shawnee Hills Appellations great varietals from Chardonel to Chambourcin at the second annual Among the Stars Festival.  This event celebrates all things local and features only wines made from grapes grown in the Shawnee Hills American Viticultural Area.  Meet the passionate grape growers and winemakers behind your favorite wines and indulge in a variety of experiences, which can increase your knowledge, and enjoyment of the Shawnee Hills.  3pm to 8pm.
