The  Annual Dover Days Festival, is one of Delaware’s largest and longest-running free events, is entirely dedicated to promoting our state’s heritage and culture.  Dover Days is easily the biggest parade in Kent County, with  Delaware’s Governor serving as Grand Marshal.

May 25, 2024  Annual Horseshoe Crab & Shorebird Festival
Milton, Delaware
Family friendly, eco-friendly festival. This festival celebrates horseshoe crabs and migrating shorebirds, long considered by many to be a natural wonder of Delaware Bay.

June 2-7, 2024  Culinary Coast Restaurant Week

June 3-8, 2024  Holy Trinity Greek Festival - Wilmington, Delaware
Enjoy a week of Greek food, music, dancing, and culture at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Indulge yourself with ethnic delights like Pastichio, Moussaka, Dolmades, Spanakopita, Gyros, Souvlaki, and Calamari while you watch the Greek Terpsechorian Youth Folk dance group perform or listen to the soothing sounds of Philadelphia's Atlantis, a regionally renowned orchestra, every evening.
 

July 4, 2024 - 4TH OF JULY - Nationwide
There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 18-27, 2024  Delaware State Fair - Harrington, Delaware
For nearly a century, the Delaware State Fair has hosted a wide variety of exhibits, with over 3,000 exhibitors competing in categories from Angus beef cattle to zinnias. Culinary competitions include the Blueberry Blow-out Contest, Crazy Over Cupcakes Contest, Homemade Ice Cream Making Contest, Wild Men & Women Cooking Contest, and More!  Attendance: 300,000.

July 27, 2024 - Newark Food & Brew Fest - Newark, Delaware
The event showcases more than 50 beers paired with creative food offerings from a dozen of Newark’s restaurants. Unlike most beer festivals, this event takes place in the restaurants. You travel from restaurant to restaurant to sample the featured brews and tasty dishes designed to spotlight those brews at that particular establishment. Tickets are not required. This is a pay-as-you-go event.

August 24, 2024  Delaware Beer, Wine and Spirits Festival
Dover, Delaware
The only statewide festival for this industry. This year’s event will take place at the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village from 4pm to 7:30pm and will incorporate a collaboration with Delaware’s agriculture industry.  The event features beer, wine and spirits tastings, meet the brewer opportunities, a mechanical bull, special demonstrations, food trucks, live music, outdoor games, special exhibits, guided tours of the Agricultural Museum, and an event store for alcohol-makers to sell collectables.

May 1, 2019 - Delaware Small Bites - Wilmington, Delaware
Over 10 area restaurants, caterers and food trucks will compete for your favorite bite.  ONE BITE on a tasting spoon from each restaurant  Some wine, beer and mead samples will be available too. Some of the restaurants may include Steak & Main, Ole Tapas, Tagpuan, Chef Rock's Kitchen, Sonora at the David Finney Inn, I Don't Give a Fork and several other.  Must be 21 or older to attend.  Proceeds will benefit 1 person for a culinary scholarship and a local non-profit.
