KIELBASA & CABBAGE

Fix-It And Forget-It Big Cookbook

Slow Cooked Kielbasa and Cabbage

Makes: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 7-8 Hours
Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 4-5-Quart

 

Ingredients

    · 1½ lb. head green cabbage, shredded
    · 2 medium onions, chopped
    · 3 medium red potatoes, peeled and cubed
    · 1 red bell pepper, chopped
    · 2 garlic cloves, minced
    · 2/3 cup dry white wine
    · 1½ lbs. Polish kielbasa, cut into 3-inch long links
    · 28 oz. can cut-up tomatoes with juice
    · 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    · ¼ tsp. caraway seeds
    · ½ tsp. pepper
    · ¾ tsp. salt
     

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

2. Cover. Cook on Low 7-8 hours, or until cabbage is tender.
