Norman Ernest Borlaug
(March 25, 1914 - ?)

Norman Ernest Borlaug was an American agronomist and Nobel Peace Prize winner for his efforts to overcome world hunger. He developed the wheat/rye hybrid called 'triticale', with higher yield and protein content.
