April 14-20, 2014  Canned Food Week UK - Wales
Canned Food UK promotes a healthy balanced diet, including a mix of fresh, frozen, dried and canned food.

May 17-18, 2014  Smallholder and Garden Festival
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
The Festival includes classes and displays for rare and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs and goats and there were llamas and alpacas, poultry, pets, demonstrations covering bees, woodland crafts, farriery, farm machinery and equipment and vintage machinery, and magnificent and colourful displays of flowers and garden produce among the 350 trade stands on the showground. Attendance: 25,000.

May 19-25, 2014  National Vegetarian Week

National Vegetarian Week (NVW) is the annual awareness-raising campaign promoting inspirational vegetarian food and the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle. Celebrated by the Vegetarian Society since 1992, the Week is now an established event that gets bigger and better every year. (also:

Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Wales
A celebration of Pembrokeshire's wonderful fish and seafood - not to mention its spectacular coastline. Attendance: 25,000.

July 7, 2013  16th Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival
Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Wales
Over the years, the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival has grown to be one of the highlights of the food calendar in Wales. Several thousand people are expected to flock to the quayside this summer to see and taste the best of local seafood, fish and other produce.

July 22-25, 2013  The Royal Welsh Show
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Show has become an important event in the Welsh calendar attracting some 240,000 people over the course of the four days and is supported by approximately 15,000 staunch members. Attendance: 240,000.

July 27, 2013  Lampeter Food Festival
Lampeter, Ceredigion, Wales
Showcasing the best of Welsh food and drink, the annual festival will be held at the Lampeter campus of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

August 16-17, 2013  The Welsh Menu Live

The Welsh Menu Live hits Swansea City Centre this August Bank Holiday. This food festival will encompass chef demonstrations, hands on sessions for children and adults, high quality street food, great entertainment and producer stalls selling the finest produce Wales has to offer. This ticketed event takes place over three days and an exciting schedule of demonstrations and talks is being planned. The show will appeal to lovers of fine food, and those with an interest in local, seasonal produce, showcasing everything from Welsh wine, beer and cider, handmade patisserie, and everything in between.

Narberth is gearing up for its 14th Food Festival with its usual mix of quality food stalls, eclectic choice of live performers, chefs, speakers and special events.

October 26-27, 2013  Gwledd Conwy Feast
Conwy, Wales
North Wales` biggest food festival, this tasty two-day event is held within Conwy`s medieval town walls and on its quayside. Gwledd Conwy Feast features Conwy's world famous mussels, collected in the Conwy river estuary for hundreds of years. The event boasts 150 stalls, celebrates the best of Welsh chefs and local produce and attracts 25,000 visitors. Varied programme of cookery demonstrations, music, entertainment and workshops and children's activities.

December 2-3, 2013  Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Winter Fair
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
Set in the heart of rural Wales and priding itself on being the best primestock event in the UK, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair has something to offer everyone.  The main attraction for the event is, of course, the tremendous display of livestock, with an average of 1400 entries in both the livestock and equine competitions each year, showing off the best of British farming.

December 8, 2013  Abergavenny Christmas Food & Drink Fair

Christmas Fair 2013 highlights: Over ninety stalls across four venues: the Market Hall, Upper Brewery Yard, The Corn Exchange and The Priory - An unrivalled selection of fresh and cured meats, poultry and game, cheeses and chocolates, cakes and desserts, wines and liqueurs, ales, ciders and more - SweetieFest – wonderful old-school treats - 'Kitchen stage' demonstration programme.

June 30, 2012  Llandysul Food Festival
Llandysul, Ceredigion, Wales
The 13th annual event will include a variety of food stalls from all over Wales and many from the Teifi Valley itself. From cheeses to ice cream, chocolate to waffles, beer to liquers they'll be at our festival. We will also have cooking demonstrations throughout the day.

September 22-23, 2012  Great British Cheese Festival
Cardiff Castle, Cardiff, Wales
Britain's Biggest Cheese Market where you can taste over 400 Sheep, Cow, Goat and even Buffalo cheeses along with artisan wine, cider, perry and beer.

October 6, 2012  Food Festival--Celebrating Harvest
Llandysul, Carmarthenshire, Wales
The festival will take place at the National Wool Museum. It will celebrate local produce and harvest time with cookery demonstrations and competitions for local schools.
