Each year the ever-growing festival sees tens-of-thousands of visitors flock from the surrounding areas to feast on a vast array of culinary activities, making Foodies Festival the social event of the summer. We have top chefs cooking in the Chef’s Theatre; wine, beer, and cocktails in the Drink’s Theatre and kids can learn to cook too in the Children’s Cookery Theatre; A new Tasting Theatre with The Cake & Bake demonstrations; Wine and Champagne Theatre; Beer Theatre; A new Feasting Tent; Another exciting addition this year is the Vintage Tea Tent; A new Chilli Food Market and Chilli Eating Challenge takes place at 5pm daily.

In 2019, we again have 2 events at the Corn Exchange on both April 7 and October 20, 2019. There will be lots of stalls, talks, with hot and cold food, bar and so much more available.

July 8, 2018 - Vegan Festival Aberdeen - Aberdeen, Scotland
The festival will attract thousands of people from all over the UK! With around 150 companies exhibiting. There is no better way to market, promote and develop your vegan business this year.
August 1, 2018 - Wigtown Agricultural Show - Wigtown, Scotland
The oldest agricultural show in south-west Scotland offers a great day out for the whole family to enjoy. The show ground will again be packed with trade stands, food and craft marquees, hundreds of animals to see, entertainment and displays as well as fairground rides. The older of the two remaining agricultural societies in the county, Wigtown Agricultural Society was founded in 1811 with the first show held in 1813.
August 5-6, 2018 - Turriff Show - Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
Turriff Show, organised by Turriff District Agricultural Association, is a two-day event, held on the Sunday, Monday before the first Tuesday in August. Turriff Show is the largest annual event to be held in Aberdeenshire and is the largest two-day Show in Scotland. The Show is now regarded as the main shop window for the promotion of agriculture and the food industry in the north east of Scotland.

Spirit of Speyside: Distilled brings the finest whisky and gin distillers, brewers and artisan producers in one region, under one roof. As well as street food and live music, a series of masterclasses will teach visitors all about premium Speyside produce. Exhibitors will include Spey Valley Brewery, the Macallan and Avva Scottish Gin. Come and enjoy the best that Speyside has to offer, in Elgin Town Hall.

A nationwide event which supports and promotes Scotland’s produce, and the people who grow, make, cook and sell it. A celebration of the best that Scotland's vibrant larder has to offer. The Fortnight is an annual celebration of Scotland’s outstanding produce, managed by industry leadership body Scotland Food & Drink and supported by the Scottish Government.
October 4-6, 2018 18th Ayrshire Real Ale Festival - Troon, Ayrshire, Scotland
The festival, organised by the Ayrshire & Wigtownshire branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), will once again feature over 150 ales from around the UK. This year. our second bar, which is located in the adjacent Walker Hall, will be 'The Birdie Bar' and will be featuring appropriately themed ales.
October 5-7, 2018 - Taste of Shetland Festival

The Taste of Shetland Festival is the highlight of Shetland’s ‘foodie’ calendar. It brings together live entertainment and cooking inspiration with some of the best food and drink Shetland has to offer. Gary Maclean, MasterChef: The Professionals Champion and Scotland’s first ever National Chef will be attending. A huge fan of Shetland and a passionate advocate for cooking fresh, nutritious and locally sourced food, Gary will be demonstrating his inspirational culinary skills. Browse the wide range of food and drink stalls from local producers, be the first to try new products launched at the Festival and have some of Shetland’s finest ingredients cooked to order in our hot food section. Our Food Theatre has a wide range of demonstrations from leading cooks and chefs running throughout the weekend, and our Heritage Area shows why Shetland has such a special relationship with food and drink with exhibitions and live sessions. The climax of the weekend is the live final of the Taste of Shetland Cooking Challenge, when the judges crown who they believe is Shetland’s best amateur cook.

November 17, 2018 Dundee Vegan Festival - Dundee, Scotland
After receiving your feedback from the festival last year, we’ve been working hard in the background to make sure we’re looking after all your needs (and wants!). We are committed to making our events as accessible as possible and as a result from 10am until 5pm the Dundee Vegan Festival will be held at the Abertay University’s Student Centre which is a fully accessible venue. We’ll be showcasing vendors and a series of talks and workshops that will cover all aspects of veganism and what’s happening in the local area.

With loads of exhibitors of malt whiskies and other spirits there will be plenty to sample. Soup/snacks will be available to purchase on the day. The ticket price includes a glass, unlimited bottled water and of course you can sample any of the whiskies/rums/gins/other spirits etc. that will be available. There will also be a master class on the day, details to follow.

Our Festival brings together tastes from all around the local area of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, the length and breadth of the UK, and specialities from across the world. The event brings over 20,000 people to the area to enjoy great food, drink & entertainment. Loch Lomond Food & Drink Festival is proud to be part of the Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight. Attendance: 30,000.
