July 25-26, 2020  Southern District Agricultural Show
Castletown, Isle of Man
EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Our main judging day is on Saturday, when the Supreme Champion will be chosen from the best in the Cattle, Sheep and Horse sections. Sunday’s judging includes the Harness Section, Donkeys, Meg Lambs, Companion Dog and Fun Pet Show. This year we also have the return of the Goat Section. There will be a full program of entertainment taking place all weekend for the whole family to enjoy, making it a fantastic day out.  Come and watch the displays taking place in the Main Ring, take your time browsing around a variety of Trade Stands, the Farmer’s Market, and sample some of the delicious food on offer around the Showfield. Everybody’s favourites will be there including Fur & Feather, the Craft and Produce marquee, Vintage Machinery, and Women’s Institute Competitions. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without the Young Farmers events, the sheep racing and the new improved Lawnmower Grand Prix!

For a small Island, we produce an amazing range of quality food and drink and the Festival is the place to find out more about it.  It is the biggest annual showcase of Isle of Man food and drink and boasts a produce marquee, tasting opportunities, caterers, demonstrations, activities for children and the Isle of Man Chef of the Year competition and Student Chef of the Year competitions.   Attendance: 10,000

May 11-12, 2019 - National Mills Weekend - Various, Isle of Man
Celebrating the UK's milling heritage on the second weekend of May each year. National Mills Weekend is the annual festival of our milling heritage and provides you with a fantastic opportunity to visit mills, many of which are not usually open to the public.

July 20-23, 2017 - Ramsey Angling Festival - Ramsey, Isle of Man
Annual event features beach fishing competitions to catch a wealth of species found in Manx waters.  Ramsey Angling Club have been established for many years running competitions mainly on the Northern shores and Ramsey Bay area of the Isle of Man. Once a year the club organise Ramsey Angling Festival which attracts many top anglers from around the U.K. and Ireland.

July 2-3, 2016  Queenie Festival 2016 - Port Erin & Port St. Mary, Isle of Man
THIS YEAR'S QUEENIE FESTIVAL ON THE ISLE OF MAN HAS BEEN CANCELLED, the organisers have confirmed.  The festival, which has been held annually in Port St Mary since 2009, was attended by about 4,000 last year.  But the organisers, Switched On Events, said the 2016 festival could not go ahead because the "sums didn't add up".  The festival - designed to celebrate fishing and other coastal industries - is named after Manx Queen scallop.

July 30-August 5, 2016  Mannin Angling Club Festival
Port St. Mary, Isle of Man
The 65th annual festival, sponsored by the Isle of Man Tourist Board, will include both shore and boat fishing competitions.
