The ever popular Bakewell food festival which attracts thousands of visitors is now in its eighth year and will once again be held around the streets of this beautiful and historic Peak District market town. Approximately100 stalls with the focus being on food and drink the Bakewell Food Festival will once be celebrating the wealth of excellent local produce that the Peak District has to offer. The town's historic streets will be host to more than their usual splendid offerings of food fayre to tempt your palate. With free entry and a host of entertainment. Rachels magical entertainment Disney characters, Face Painting, children's rides, James Mckay and his owls of Harry Potter fame. Elf mills carriages, craft and gift fairs, entertainment in the marquee. The regular farmers market will be held on the Saturday from 9am to 2pm in the Agricultural Centre.

We want the consumer to be able to walk around the show and to sample all the different cuisines on offer and to browse & shop at the many different marketplace traders on show. With this in mind the Surrey Food Festival will bring a family feel to this event by having a Kids Zone where the children can enjoy a number of inflatables and rides. On the main stage there will be a number of acts performing to the public throughout the day while you sit and relax in our seating area enjoying the vast array of different cuisines on offer. There will also be a number of different bars offering various beverages ranging from Champagne to branded larger for everyone to sit and enjoy.
