August 5-6, 2017 14th Torteval Scarecrow Festival - Torteval, Guernse
yTake a wander through the beautiful parish of Torteval in the south west of Guernsey. Follow the trail and pick your favourite scarecrow, which come in all shapes and sizes, whilst taking in the natural beauty of the area. Refreshment's available.

There will be fantastic promotions on offer in restaurants and cocktail bars as well as markets and shows, interactive events and plenty for the children to do, as well as the grown ups.
August 12-13, 2016 The South Show - St. Martin's, Guernsey
The South Show kicks off the summer shows with locals exhibiting their lovingly tended vegetables and flowers, freshly baked cakes, breads and pies, as well as various crafts, and all will be hoping for first prize. Entries are from Guernsey residents living in the parishes of St Martin's, Forest, St Andrew's and St Peter Port with classes for adults and children. Children can enter the fancy dress competition and the decorated hat parade which is always a giggle and open to adults too! There will be lots of stalls and children's entertainment outside this year.
August 17-18, 2016 The West Show - St. Peter's, Guernsey
The West United Agricultural & Horticultural Society Show. The West show is arguably Guernsey’s premier agricultural and horticultural show. Held annually since 1913 the West show is a traditional country show with many modern aspects, and this year being the centenary it promises to be bigger and better than ever. The show starts on the Tuesday with horse events, Wednesday and Thursday sees the show get into full swing with the tented competitions and animal competitions together with the arena entertainment and side displays.

Guernsey Restaurant Week

Rightly known for the quality of its produce, Guernsey has a wide selection of artisan produce that is used by restaurateurs across the year. During the festival period, many of the eateries across the island will be creating a festival dish or menu crafted mainly from this excellent produce. From seafood and salad herbs to goats cheese and free-range pork, Guernsey Restaurant Week is the perfect excuse to explore not only the bounty of the island but also the varied hospitality offering. Up to 16 different eateries around the island will be creating special exciting menu's or dishes, showcasing food from around the world.
October 10-31, 2016 Fabulous Fifteen Food Festival - Alderney, Guernsey
Celebrate Alderney’s diverse eateries and local produce with theme nights, wine tasting and special deals. This is the fourth consecutive year the autumn festival has taken place and features the very best local produce from fruits and vegetables, dairy produce, delicious home-reared meat and seafood from local waters.

Finishing off the summer season in style, the popular Herm Real Ale Festival returns to The Mermaid Tavern. With a wide array of Ales, Ciders and Craft Beers (plus wine and champagne if you fancy!) the focus is one trying something that is very different to the norm. There is also live entertainment on certain nights.

October 1-November 11, 2015 Tennerfest - Guernsey
The Channel Islands can look forward to 6 weeks of great meals at fixed prices. Across Guernsey and Jersey, over 180 restaurants will be taking part, meaning diners are once again guaranteed to find outstanding menus and meals created from the wealth of good food available in the islands. Restaurateurs on both islands are offering menus starting at £10 with £12.50, £15.00, £17.50 and now £20 options. This enables the restaurants to offer a wide and exciting selection of food during this promotion.
September 19-21, 2014 Herm Wine Tasting Weekend - Herm, Guernsey
Enjoy tasting six wines each evening in the comfort of the White House Hotel lounges prior to an excellent four course dinner in the Conservatory restaurant.
